Summary: The Sims, the scourge of gaming
Review: The Sims was a bad idea to start off with and the fact that they have draged it on says something about the publishers and the people buying it. I buy this game, every single expansion pack and I hate them all! This game is so boring, so trite, so unimaginative. This game has all the makings of a very bad game.

Summary: a fun expansion pack, but some flaws
Review: Sims Unleashed is a lot of fun. Sims can now have pet cats, dogs, birds, fish, lizards, and turtles. It's a great addition to the Sim world, and there's some great new objects to have fun with too. There's a new place to visit outside the house now, called Old Town, where you can go to the farmer's market or the park. Overall, it's an expansion pack worth getting. It's disappointing, however, that while you can control the actions of the humans in the game, you can't control the actions of the pets, so they have to eat, sleep etc. on their own. Also, because of the way the neighborhood screen is set up now, when you make a change to an Old Town building in neighborhood #1, that change doesn't carry over to the other neighborhood screens, even though it's the same Old Town (unless you've built/demolished buildings).

Summary: This game would be fun~ IF IT WORKED!
Review: For all those Windows 2000 users out there:
Yes, ...for Windows 2000~ but it doesn't [work]. Trust me, it didn't worked for me, and it didn't work for another Windows 2000 friend of mine. So, use the previous expansion packs, and have fun downloading thiings from cool websites but don't waste your time (or $$$$$ for that matter) on Unleashed. Don't worry, you aren't missing out on a revolutionary product. Neither am I.

Summary: This game has to many BUGS and PROBLEMS
Review: 1st of all the game costs so much and it has problems for win98 for example when i first started,it was fun to see old town but when entered the Newbies house the problems started. The game keeps on crashing and when i go to the sims.com all the solutions did not work! so when i just click something the game crashes. So i spent[$]to get a game that has bugs and problems.Oh you must be wondering why i say BUGS.One of my friends told me that there were bugs he said that there were 20 over bugs like one when you go to old town to get a pet dog you click on the dog but get a pet cat.Oh and please the cover may look nice but trust me you do not want to buy and play this game.Oh and if Maxis wants to sell this game they should fix the problems first! And another thing is that it takes up more than 2GB and i have all th sims games installed so it altogether took up more than 6GB!! At that moment i was about to cry!Just see how much space it takes up is enough!!I hope that the next expansion pack does not take up so much space and has so much problems.Thats all i have to say:)

Summary: This Game Is Amazing!
Review: This game has so much to do! The pets are so life-like, the objects are VERY cool! The neghiborhood now has 40 LOTS! Now in the neghinorhood screen the Loch Ness Monster appears! The new Old Town is amazing, there is so much to do on it, plus I find myself making more Old Towns than Vacation Islands, because the old towns are ON the neghiborhood screen to go to!! This game is the BEST expansion pack for the sims YET!

Summary: The Sims Unleashed
Review: I have all the sims games!! And I love them, but I do find myself agreeing with the other reviews in general. Mostly, the job thing-- U spend hours, days , even months building skills like cooking-- and charisma and so on, yet u dont really get to put them to work , except cooking and mechanical. I agree with the ideas of allowing ur children to grow up or at the least be able to create a child of teen status as well as 4 and 5 yrs olds and there really being a difference, I am highly addicted to the game and the last 4 expansion packs have really given us lots to do but really nothing different to choose from as far as deco and walls and building and such. I hate spending hours online downloading just for something to work out or whatever, at first it is kinda fun but then it gets boring as well as it takes up way to much space, slows the game down, and dont always play with good quality in the game itself. Sure u can clean it out delete remove or whatever but still it isnt the same functions or quality that comes in the game itself, and it really takes alot of the fun out of the game{as well as playtime} heehee any way i really think they really ought to make a addon not expansion of say items only. U know something where u can install new items and clothing but still be able to play on say Unleashed only with the new objects. NONE of the objects actually work in a room together, so yea i say GREAT GAME but is definitly lacking in areas. The pet thing and the new neighborhood GR8 Job!!!

Summary: Woo hoo
Review: I have been waiting for the sims to have pets for a long time! Sure I downloaded the pigs but they really didn't do too much, know what I mean? Yeah so that is pretty much how I feel about it. :)

Summary: Lots of fun...BUT.....
Review: Of the "The Sims" games that have been released so far, I have to say, I love this one the most. Get pets, train them, then show them! Breed them and keep the offspring, or sell them (better than all the kids that keep building up until I ship them off to military school)However...how is it that the strays can just wander in and out of my house open doors, and pee in my bathroom? Can I set a dog trap in the yard?
Gardens. These are a good idea, but just take so much work! A real garden doesn't take nearly as long. They really need a general command "Water garden" that waters all the plants, "Weed Garden" that does them all. Lining up the individuals.....tedious. But nice to not have to pay for food, and to make money. Beware the gophers and bunnies. Point two on gardens...why grow carrots? The rabbits just eat them before they grow all the way. I planted four lots, and only one grew all the way. Even with two cats, the rabbits ate my carrots. And with all the nerve that can be....one walked up to the plot my SIM was weeding and ate the carrots that were in the plot she was weeding. And if you don't have a cat, or two, the rabbits are really prolific and tie up the road. My school bus waited 3 hours while rabbits played in the road. And it honked the whole time.

The biggest problem that I have encountered is that, my housemates have a tendency to not interact. At all, except to "Praise, Scold, Give Treat" Somehow, it is confusing the animal and human interactions when they are at home.

The Old Town area is pretty neat. Lots of new shop types. Finally have espresso stands. Just have to have the whole group go. Which is a tad tricky getting everyone all rested, clean, fed, and ready to go. Parents of quadruplets have less problems accomplishing that task. Oh well. At least the pets will sleep anywhere. Home, Old Town, neighbor's house...they don't care. A nice little display cabinet to show off all the awards that your pet has won at various compatitions.

In all, I think it is the best release they have done yet, however, I wish they had worked out a few more things. Especially the bug where my people don't interact. Though "Praise" is an offer, it doesn't do anything when you select it.
