Summary: A Sim Fav!!!
Review: The Sims Unleashed is a great game of which you can get pets, and, with the expansion size of the neighborhoods, you can get about 40 families in one neighborhood! You can get either a dog, cat, lizard, bird and a fish. The pet store isn't different from any other shop, except you can even PLAY with the pet. And, just because it's called "Unleashed" it's not all about pets! You can now grow plants, instead of just buying them. But, you have to buy the seeds! Don't get me wrong! I'm getting it either this week or next week! (Whenever my report card comes out, lol) I'm Steven Jackson, but my nickname is Izzy Imoko.

Summary: The Best One Yet!
Review: If you have a good computer, the game runs fine! Unless you use like a seven year old box, it doesn't take to long to load, the people who say it do are just impatiant and only look a negitives!

Having the edition of old town is wonderful. Not only can you visit the pet shops, (which you can edit and create new ones) you have ALOT more lots and room for many more familys. You can play the game normaly if you don't want a pet, just don't get one and ignore the neighborhood strays that come onto your property. However, you will be missing out on one of the best features of the game! Not only are there new interactions with pets, but people aswell. You can pick which type of hug, kiss, etc... you want to do, and relationships are alot harder to build (this makes it more fun!). If you visit old town, you won't loose your job because when you come back, no matter how long you were gone, it's the same time as when you left.

However, you can only visit old town if everyone is home. (this is very annoying if you have kids, which are annoying anyway. I would not recomend getting kids with pets.) Using a money cheat (rosebud) speeds things up, but be sure to have at least one house that is played to real way, so you get the full experence. A good way to not get bord with a game is to play one part of it for a while, or one way of playing. For example, one person and one pet. Then, when you master that (shouldn't take to long), get two people or two pets.

There are hundreds of new features in the game. I like to have one house for each one. For example, one of my houses is deticated to having puppies. Another is for laughs, two men fighting over one woman. If you have friends that have the game, talk to them on the phone sometimes when you're playing so you can exchange stories and laughs, or tell them what stupid thing your sim did. If you cannot master the whole thing right away, start small.

Build up your bank account before getting a pet. If you want the pet experience without the cost, befriend a neigborhood pet, or a pet from one of your other houses. Getting a pet of your own will be all worth it, though, when you bring home the gold!

Summary: Depends on your taste
Review: I think that this is an excellent expansion to a sweet game. However, with this expansion pack, the game almost completly changed. They've added many new areas and activities which make the a little too complex in my opinion. It's not so complicated that it's unplayable but it does take away from the classic game. If you are a die hard Sim fan, this is still a great game. But you if you are a newcomer, this expansion may give you a bad impression.

Summary: GREAT!
Review: This game is great! I've always wanted a pet and with this I can sort of have one. Sometimes it freezes, but that's rare. It's my favorite out of all the Sims games!

Summary: Asking a lot, giving a lot
Review: Okay, this game is definitely worth it IF your computer is fast enough. It takes up a lot of space, and my Windows '98 runs it very slowly. Still, with the glitches, it's worth it. You can still go to the neighborhood and on vacation, if you bought the previous expansion packs (recommended). You can now have pets, which is so much fun. There is a wide variety of dogs and cats to choose from, and there are also turtles, fish, etc. The price at amazon.com is cheap, so buy it here if anywhere. There are new items, pets, gardening (cool), and huge neighborhoods. There are FORTY LOTS in each neighborhood. Some you can live in, some you can edit and your sims can visit. This game is a good use of money.

Summary: Pretty Good
Review: I think this game is really cool. You get to do things like adopt a pet and train it. Plus, you have a vegetable garden. You have to buy seeds for it and take care of it, but it's cool. The only bad thing about it is that when you're in a community lot, the game tends to slow down a lot. You get used to it, but it can be annoying sometimes.

If you have Vacation or Hot Date, you can get onto those from the main neighborhood screen.

Summary: Game is slow yet fun half of the time
Review: While hiring a maid and gardner, the game slows down allot when you have it in fast fast mode. The jobs are good-but getting the allotment for friends is hard, I can get to level 4 of all new jobs, till I need 3 or more to make the next few levels. Friendship is the hardest, I miss the one green bar and the simple 20 dollar gift giving part. I would give it more than one star, so many bugs in this game I have heard about from other people.
The pet thing is nice-yet your Sim has no time to take care of a pet, while he or she has a job. People are right, why isn't there any control over pets? I bought a feline for my Sim, the cats bar's we're almost red. The parrot deal is dumb, they die even if you feed them and such. Also miss the 8 neighborhood lots from the orginal Sims, buidling a house is fun. Sims need to get older and die, immortality is bogus for a Sim. Well, they die from accidents at home. The strays do help a Sim's social bar streak back up. Social reactions are funny to hear, the puppet and such. Game is fun when you play for a week or two, than it gets tiresome.

Summary: Slow but steady wins the race
Review: I've played all the expansions, and this one is the best. The only problem is is that this game runs slowly. Adopting Pets is really cool. + you can grow gardens, & go shopping.I rated 4 stars because it slow. Other-wise it would have been 5. I love it!!!

Summary: This is a winner
Review: If you have the original Simas game, then this expansion pack is required. In this one you get to have pets, enough said. You will like the pets and all the other new stuff you can buy, as well as all the new neighborhood stuff. This expansion is another major plus in the Sims franchise.

Summary: Don't Waste Your Money!
Review: This game is absolutely horrible. The stupid stray pets just walk in your door and make themselves at home. They use the bathroom all over the house, ( and not in a litter box) and do nothing but sit around all day. Then there's Old Town. When I go there my computer always freezes up and I have to turn it off with an unsaved game. They make this game sound very good but believe me it's not! And the bad part is if you don't like this game,( and you won't ) there is no way that is you can play your regular SIMS game like the original Sims or Sims DELUXE. The computer won't let you do it, and if you try putting the original it says "please put in your sims unleashed CD-ROM" I am afraid that if I uninstall it , it will erase all of my families. This is the worse game I have ever played. Take my word for it: DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY!
