Review: Battlefield 1942 is an excellent online game, however there are faults:
-Horrible Single Player
-You need DSL or cable to play online
-You need a fast computer to play fluidly
-Need a large monitor to use the sniping mode perfectly
-This game will literally take away 4-6 hours of your day.
-If you have a wife, she will be mad for the lack of attention

The main point: If you have the time, money, and power you will be addicted to this game. I am 19, my brother is 28, and we both fight to play this game. Anyone who plays the game will be blown away. I am not a crazy kid who is blindly in love with BF 1942; get the demo, and you will see why this game is the #1 online game out in the market. IF you HAVE THE RESOURCES, then buy this game.

Summary: Best WW2 Game as of Yet
Review: Although this claim is difficult to state as Call of Duty is nearly out, so far Battlefield 1942 beats out any WW2 game (or any war game, FPS or RTS) that I have ever played. The controls are incredibly easy to manage, the graphics put you on a real battlefield, and the sounds truly bring you to the scary heat of battle.

Then comes the concept and gameplay. This game truly makes you feel like you are part of a real time battle, and puts you at the site of many famous slaughters in WW2 history. Although you are one of many in this battle, the game truly makes it possible for the individual player to make a huge difference in the fighting. In summary, the best WW2 FPS as of now.

Review: like i said it is a good multiplayer game but the singleplayer part is really short. i beat the singleplayer missions in less then 6 hours. and don't get this game unless you got more then 256 megs of ram or you will feel like a flickery light bulb.

but if you like multiplayer games then get this one :)

This game is simply just the best out their. Their are only pros to this game. You get the already awseam BattleField 1942 and then come this very sweet expasion, Battlefield 1942: The road to roam. This game has stellar graphics and realistic sound. Persoonaly i like the planes the best but hey, thats me.

Review: This game is great no questions asked, single player gets much more difficult from easy to hard and multiplayer is outstanding. If u find a vehicle or plane u can drive it, if in single player and AI is in it u can kick them out. I also recommend getting Battlecraft 42, look for a download online, its a great mapmaking addition to the game, make your own maps then play them.

Review: This game Rocks and its not only for High speed internet users. Those who tell you you need a Cable or ADSL Modem haven't got a clue about how a computer works. Everything on BF 1942 is server side the actual amount of info that is passed back and forth is ver very small. Your system is the big factor in BF 1942. Processor Speed, memory, Hard Drive acsess speed and Video speed are all much more important than Connection speed. I play BF 1942 Multi Player on a 28.800 connection, I have my system Tweaked out and I get very little lag. I love it when those who have no clue about how the ineternet works scream at me because my ping is above 350, I laugh blow them away and increase my standing. If you are running a decent system (1.5 gig porcessor and 512 DDR with at least 128 of vedio mem) this game will run very well using Dial up.

Review: okay, you want a great WW2 game, well here it is. just forget all the medal of honnor stuff, and go to this. it blows it out of the water. its so realistic. the game play is great. it takes a bit to get use to the controls, but after a while you will have it mastered. The bots on the game are pretty easy to beat, they even sometimes run right by you not even paying attention to you. but over all they can give you a challenge. but the high light of this game, the multiplayer. you get to go online and play with up to 60 other people. its great and a lot of fun. so if you are looking for a great game, well here it is. and the expansion pack makes it even better.
