Summary: Just another shot 'em up
Review: I give 5 stars for graphics, 3 for sound and none for realizm. No one person could possiblly do alone these missions as the game unfolds. It starts out good as you are a member of a fire team and all are working together, but then after that it's you against the entire German Army. This game was not what I expected after reading all the reviews and above. Kind of reminds me of the game DOOM.

Summary: THE BEST!!!!!
Review: I had never written a review before, because a game never gave me the reality i needed to say that this is the best War game I've ever play.....It doesn't have the best graphics, it isn't the most difficult War Game, but if you really want to be part of WWII, you have to be part of MEDAL OF HONOR.

Summary: HOLY CRAP, MARTHA!
Review: Writing as one who has been playing FPS games since the original Wolfenstein, I'll say this is the best game I've ever played. Of course the gameplay is terrific, with plenty of action and a tense, historically accurate plot line. The enemy AI is the best. The Germans see you, and duck behind a wall. Sometimes they stick just their rifles out and fire blindly at you! But what makes this game stand out is detail. I think the makers of this game spent 80% of their time adding the details-- the realistic touches that make this game so absorbing. The costumes are exact-- both for the Americans and the Germans. The weapons are perfect--right down to the serial # on the receiver of your rifle. The soldiers (of both sides) you run into all say different things. They don't repeat the same five phrases over and over again. The breeze blowing through the bushes sounds so real as it moves from left to right you'll want to pull your sweater a little tighter. Shutters flap in the wind. Fights of thunderous P-51's occasionally fly over. Watch out, they may bomb the target you're after whether you like it or not. I could go on and on.
You'll need a beefy system to run this game properly. You'll really benefit from a quality sound card and surround system as there must be over a thousand different sound effects. Downside: Sometimes I wish they had imbued your fellow soldiers with as much AI as the Germans, because most of the time they end up getting killed.
Buy this game. It is a keeper, worth playing three or four times at least. I downloaded the demo and played it half a dozen times before the full game arrived.
You'll love it.

Summary: Fans of realistic FPS: Beware!
Review: Caveat: I'm basing this review on the single player demo but what I'm going to say must be applicable to the full game because I'm addressing several design issues that are not specific to a single level (with one possible exception that I point out below).

I've been joyfully anticipating the release of MOHAA on the PC for several months now. As is my standard practice, I decided to wait till I could try a demo before I bought the game. I'm glad I waited because having played the demo I now have no interest in the game itself.

As someone who has greatly enjoyed realistic FPS (Delta Force, Rainbow Six and, most recently, Operation Flashpoint - a great game) I've been following the conversion of MOHAA to the PC with interest because of all the publicity about a "realistic WW2 FPS". Recently I've read reviews which have said that MOHAA is more a fun game than a realistic one.

This is an understatement.

There is no realism in MOHAA at all. It's Quake with swastikas and period weaponry. There are some good points: the soundtrack that plays just after you load the game is absolutely superb. The graphics are good. But after playing games like OFP and DF, I found myself stopping dead and staring in amazement as fellow GI's and enemy Wehrmacht "took a lickin' and kept on tickin'".
The very first time I saw someone get hit 5 or 6 times (at least) in a row by an MG42 and just keep on fighting as if nothing happened, I knew this was not the game for me. Perhaps people who spend their nights playing Quake and/or Unreal don't have a problem with this but I definitely do.

Tactics in this game are standard Quake/Unreal/Doom FPS and have no relation at all to real military ones. Taking out a Tiger with a Panzerschreck (sp?) involves popping out of cover, firing a round, popping back into cover while the tank futilely fires its cannon, then popping back out and hitting it again. Repeat as necessary. Unlike OFP, there's no control over your fellow soldiers so it's not possible to outflank or fire and maneuver.
Enemy soldiers are a little too aware of their surroundings. Everyone (except you!) seems to know exactly where everyone else is and reacts accordingly.

The demo mission is also very very linear but I can't say whether this applies to the missions in the full game as well.

Oh well. I guess I'll have to wait till someone tries the "realistic WW2 FPS" genre again. This wasn't even close.

That having been said: if you think Quake and Unreal are the best thing since sliced bread, I'm betting you'll love this game.

Summary: World War II: It doesn't get any closer than this.
Review: You are onboard a Allied Troop Carrier. You have no reached the Omaha Beach on the deciding day of World War II. One bullet can make all the difference. Nope, this is not the real thing. This is the closet you can get. Medal Of Honor: Allied Assualt is the exciting installment in the best World War II series ever made. With realistic graphics, real missions, real guns, and Steven Speilberg (Schindler's List, Saving Private Ryan) as consultant.

You play a young soldier who joins the Allied forces in World War II. You are thrust into the most dangerous missions from finding secret war documents to fighting the batte of them all, D-Day. The controls are pretty simple. W is for moving forward, S is for backwards, and the mouse does the rest. That good for people like me who can't remember all the controls for PC games.

The graphics are amazing. But, the A.I. is pretty wierd. It is like all of the Nazis are mind readers. If you want a multiplayer game, get Half-Life or Return To Castle Wolfenstien.

World War II has never been this exciting. If you like Saving Private Ryan, get this game. You won't regret it.

Summary: Fun single player...
Review: To a point. Get tired of waltzing through town blasting germans after a while. If you're going for realism, I say go all out and get Ghost Recon. If you're going for muchos kills, I'd go get Quake 3. And if I wanted a multiplayer game, those two and Counterstrike still have this blown out of the water. Oh yeah, and Wolfinstein too, eh? So take my advice and don't waste your money on this one. Remember, Jedi Knight II comes out pretty soon. yeah baby yeah!

Summary: MUST GET!!! For 1st person fans!
Review: Realy realistic. I realy like how your teammates act and speak. The levels are not as big(as in complex) as some other games but they are long and exiting. Multi-Player will keep you at the end your toes(especialy sniping).

Summary: A Classic and a Masterpiece
Review: This has to be a great contender for game of the year. There have been complaints about the game, but I agree with the majority in saying that this is a great game. 2015 took time and great care in making this game and it shows. This game is evidence that there are developers out there that love the artform of great games. It's an instant classic. Granted that the game does have heavy scripting and it still has potential, but it's much better than 95% of the garbage that is released to the public in hopes of getting their money. The AI is not perfect, but is excellent. There is so much to say about this game, the story, the graphics, music, and the presentation. Multiplayer is a blast, but in single player is where this game shines. This game is being compared to Saving Private Ryan and it's of the same caliber in terms of quality. There are many great action games coming out the first half of 2002. C&C Renegade and Jedi Knight 2 are just some of them, but for any FPS fan, this is one that you should definitely get. Return to Castle Wolfenstein was awesome, but this game is a Masterpiece. If you have the money, get both. If not, get this game. Let's hope to either an expansion and/or a Platinum with extras like a mission and level editor. It shows that hard work and love for games can yield from a developer. Thanks to 2015 for sharing such a Masterpiece.

Summary: Now I feel like a veteran!!!
Review: This game is without a doubt the best first person shooter ever made! The sound effects will almost bring you through the computer screen and into the war. Every sniper shot, every mortar shell erupting, every thompson submachine gun clearing out a bunker is overflowing with realism to the max! Command your own men through war beaten french towns or go undercover as a nazi officer to destroy a U-boat.
