Summary: Game of the Year to Buy
Review: When I read previews of MOHAA back in around november/september I was extremely excited for this game to come out. Finally! A game that captures the actual D-Day from first person! MOHAA's centerpiece is the Normandy Invasion on Omaha Beach. However, I must say that when I played the D-Day level finally it was quite dissapointing. The invasion is only small scale and the events are ripped shamelessly from the WW2 hit movie: Saving Private Ryan. The run up the beach is incredibly short and pretty easy. The events are all scripted so that if a soldier is scripted to die, he will die automatically in the place where he's supposed to die. This means that there's no possible way to have any variety. You get to the shingle and go to get bangalors like in SPR(Saving Private Ryan). You then explode the shingle like in SPR and run to the base of one of the giant bunkers.

About 10 guys run over the shingle with you, but only you and 3 others make it because it's scripted to have the others die automatically. The captain in your battalion looks almost exactly like Tom Hanks did in SPR. The men at the bunker base with you are the Tom Hanks captain, the Sergeant guy from SPR who was bald and is bald underneath his helmet. And some random Private. Captain tells Segeant and Private to run across to the other bunker the space to it is covered by machine gun(s) just like in SPR. They run across and are scripted to get killed so they die. You run across snipe the machine gunners like the sniper did in SPR who instantly reappear and run into a trench.

Now is where it just turns into an FPS game. You go on to take out an entire German bunker by yourself which is incredibly unrealistic. It would've been a better level if you could go to the top of the bluffand clear that out, but no. The case in the single player MOHAA is that the levels lack much depth although it is fun to be in disguise as a German officer and walk around not being shot at....hehehe =)

The graphics in MOHAA are good like in the D-Day level when you're in the Higgins Boats the soldiers around you actually look scared.

.... MOHAA's audio and graphics are quite amazing. MOHAA could've used more larger scale battles like the D-Day invasion except more realistic. MOHAA's multiplayer I think is the best part about it. It has 8 or more(+) maps and 4 or 5 different types of multiplayer games to play. Realistic and all extremely fun to play! Maps: Stalingrad, Omaha Beach, Destroyed French Village, etc. etc.....
Games: Team Deathmatch, Objective Based Match, etc. etc.....

For what it's worth:
BUY MEDAL OF HONOR: ALLIED ASSAULT!!! AND BUY IT NOW! AS QUICK AS YOU CAN!!!

HEHEHE
HEHEHE..... ;)
=)

Summary: Great Arcade FPShooter! Awsome graphics and audio.
Review: MOAA is a great FPS or first person shooter arcade genre game. I make a distinction, because if your looking for realism, it's not as hard-core as the "Rainbow6(tm)" type games from Red Storm(tm), or "Operation Flashpoint(tm)" by Codemasters(tm). Upon landing on Omaha beach, on the easy skill setting, it takes approx. 22 hits to take you down. But the environment is awe inspiring. Excellent multiplayer. Game snipers, you'll love this one. The maps could be bigger, and outdoor terrain is linear (there's an obvious path to follow). If your used to Tribes2, the missions here may seem a bit claustrophobic. You're probably wondering why I gave this game such a high rating. It's because I'm narrowing my description down to an Arcade type FPShooter, vs. Realism type FPShooter. Now for the pros... The sound is excellent. Rifle sounds are very well done. Sun flare, textures and the feel of the weapons are unequaled. I love the character interactions of the game, they seem so much more natural than OpFlashpoint where they seem almost puppetlike. I hope that I gave this game credit, in my opinion, it actually deserves a 4.5/5.0. I gave it this type of rating, because when people rate products, we need to be objective. Always rate the product in the category it deserves, not the category we want it to be in. I would have enjoyed the game more if it had been a realism game, but that would be like wishing my car we're priced like a '72 Datsun and drove like a 2002 Ferarri. Simply put, they made this game to fit the mass American market, and I don't can't them for that....

Summary: Golden Eye Hits the PC!!!
Review: This game is a blast. It's fun and easy to pick up. The best fps I've played in a long time. The single player game is cool as well as its multiplayer component. It allows many settings for different video/cpu capabilities. Get it!

Summary: On the Beach
Review: In my Marine days, I had made amphib assaults, against mother nature and civilian tourists on the shores of Camp Pendleton, Ca. I had always wondered what an opposed assault would be like. Now I don't want to know.

This is my opinion of ONE single player mission from this game.

Its like the first 20 minutes of Saving Private Ryan in your face. I was shocked at the amount of detail, from the sounds of the MG-42s, grenades, screaming of commands, soldiers yelling for their buddies, or mostly for medics, the dying, the impacts of high velocity rounds against metal, and the surrealistic feel of a battlefield. The heavy artillery and mortars are hellish. I can look back behind me and see just thousands of americans. The scenary is alive, and with lots of cinematic detail...

Summary: Worth the price
Review: Medal of Honor was the best first person shooter on any console ever when it first came out, screw Goldeneye, Medal of Honor was tons better. I was eagerly awaiting the first PC release. I must admit it is a tad disappointing. There's no blood, that's bad, that's actually intolerable. ... Now all I get is him falling over, bah. But in all it's fun. The D-Day mission is great, a true classic. The rest of the game has some pretty spectacular set-pieces. Although, the combat just seems to be one man vs. all, which isn't good. I want to feel like I'm part of the Allied force, not the Allied force itself. But it's entertaining from start to finish, and the graphics are... good. The multiplayer has been unfairly maligned, but I was never a counterstrike fan anyway, so what do I know. Give it a whirl.

Summary: The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly
Review: THE GOOD: Medal of Honor: Allied Assault lives up to most of it's hype. It is extremely fun to play. It is addictive, has great graphics, and has an extremely high level of replay value (mainly due to the multiplayer package). It has many authentic weapons from the era including rifles and machine guns of different types (from both the Axis and the Allied side), a shotgun, grenades, etc. In single player mode some very fun missions allow you to lead an entire squad into battle, drive a tank, and operate a machine gun mounted in the back of a jeep. The Normandy invasion is very, very cool. The audio is amazing.

THE BAD: The graphics (while good) are not on the same level as Return to Castle Wolfenstein. The single player game is too short, and the multiplayer game isn't NEAR as fun as Return to Castle Wolfenstein. There are no roles to choose from, just team and weapon. You'll have to download the patch to have access to an "in-game" server browser in the multiplayer mode. The multiplayer mode is also a bit too slow paced. And there is no blood in the game.

THE UGLY: The Normandy invasion level, while well done, sports dialogue and action sequences taken directly from the film Saving Private Ryan. You think they could've put at least a little bit of their own spin on it.

BOTTOM LINE: Medal of Honor is an awesome game dispite the above criticisms and is worth the 50 bucks. Single player mode is very enjoyable even though a bit short and not very challenging. If you have a broadband internet connection, the multiplayer game will keep you addicted for a long time. If you are looking for more of a challenge in single player mode, or for a better multiplayer package, I recommend Return to Castle Wolfenstein over MOH. However, if you already own that, or played it and didn't like it, give Medal of Honor a try....you won't be dissapointed.

Summary: Good WWII game
Review: Hi, I am swiss and play a lot of 1st person games; indeed, it's
good fun to play MoH, but the game is a bit unrealistic... However, I must recognize that, just after having finished "The return to Castle Wolfenstein", the game is a bit fade and the graphics are disappointing...

Summary: best damn WWII shooter
Review: Finally a good WWII first person shooter that is not a mod of another game or overrun with nazi mutant monsters.

If you like realistic shooters and WWII you must have this game.
The single player mode has the immersion of a good WWII movie.
The multiplay will blow you away.
