Summary: This Game is Awesome!
Review: This is one of my favorite games! I hate people who don't have a taste for strategy and criticize this game. THe god powers can be game-breakers and the myth units look cool. The Greeks have the best and second-most user friendly civilization, next to the Atlanteans. The Norse guys are by far the hardest to play. The gods are a nice feature and I love the campaigns. The titan unit really helped me win the games and is a tatal game breaker. Even if you defeat it, you'll probably lose. THe one drawback is if you only want to play historical games this game is NOT for you. At first, I hated it because it didn't have total historical accuracy. This is THE game that you will play for months on end.

Summary: Fun family game
Review: As a huge fan of this type of game, I was excited to play something that dealt with mythological creatures and magical powers. While not as robust a product as Empire Earth, or even Age of Empires, the game is a lot of fun. The real test is how my kids respond to it -- given the choice between Age of Mythology, Empire Earth, and Rise of Nations, they prefer AoM.

Summary: Age of Mythology ROCKS!
Review: If you like strategy games like "Age of Empires", "Rome Total War", or "Warcraft 3", then you should enjoy this game. If not, well, don't bother. I liked it. The graphics are good, the sound is good, the control is good. You get to expand your own ancient civilization, use god powers and mythical beast units on your enemies. But it's all about war. You rush through the building process, collecting food and so on, and building up your culture, only to fight and conquer, or defend. Some may prefer more creative space, some not. I couldn't figure out the Editor -- I couldn't figure out how to make my enemies do anything! Besides that, there aren't a lot of glitches to pick at, technically.

Anyway, I paid $70 bucks for it and felt it was a rip. For $20 I'll recommend it. For $10, I'll highly recommend it!

Summary: A Titan's Load of FUN!!!
Review: This is a great, I repeat GREAT game. You will get more than your moneys worth out of Age of Mythology. It's hard to master, but easy to learn! It has a bit of educational value (considering it's a flat-out war game). You can create amazing and powerful mythical creatures and heroes to help you in your battles or just create a huge army of foot soldiers and storm the castle gates. A series of fun, new scenarios and maps along with an intreiging storiline and cool characters makes this game one in a mythical million.
