Summary: The Sims keep on going
Review: With the thoughts of this making - you have to get this game. Since it has more spectacular floors, walls, skins, and objects - you are going to have a lot of fun! This game is specialized with more themes like "hideaway" and "Hawiian", but I saved the best for the last - "Lets Party!!!!!!". There are new objects for each theme, like for the Party theme they have Psychidelic chairs and tables, my favorite on the Sims House Party, is the transportation device, like a teleporter. If you love the Sims, and it is your favorite game - you'll love this one even more than any other!!!!

Summary: Party with house party
Review: This game is great for mature kids. Yes, there is some sexual content but not much. I think every mature kid should have this game.

Summary: Out-of-Control AWESOME!!!!!!!
Review: All Pro's on my computer! No Cons!

I just got this game today! It was awesome! I have been awaiting this game for over 3 weeks... checking the reviews every day! lol... pathetic, huh?

Well I bought it on the internet, so when the box came today, i ripped it open, and screamed. I was so excited!

I love this game... And i know u have probably heard all about the cons, and how the game goes really slow... even on a new computer... Well, my computer has new software, but the computer itself is old as dirt! Works just fine!

I have thrown 3 parties, one bombed... got crashed and had that mime.. urg! But the other two ended up swimming w/ celebs! It was totally awesome!

My favorite items are the disco floor, and the dance cages.. lol U can really watch the sims get their groove on! The Campfire is another one of my favorites... w/ the ghost... but u have to have a bundle of charisma points for that... Along w/ a few cool outfits... my personal fav is the one w/ the pink tiger stripes... a little outragious.. but hey!

Well... thats about the end of what i'm gonna tell u... i'll save some surprises! I have to admit... after a while u get sick of the others.. but w/ this game... every party has a new twist!

If u are considering getting this, Don't doubt it for a second... This game is a definate must for the sim-fans out there... lata!

Summary: Good expansion pack, but obvious it was rushed
Review: I loved The Sims when it first came out -- it was bizarre and voyeristic, but fun to watch nevertheless. This expansion pack is good and fun, but not quite up-to-par as "Livin' Large" was. It almost seems as if the success of "Livin' Large" prompted the rush of the creation of "House Party" and the performance shows despite the great additions.

First the good: yes, there are a number of additions. Most of them have to do with having a party, hence the theme. There's a dance floor with a killer stereo (plus, dance cages,) buffet accessories with a caterer you can hire, a mechanical bull that helps a Sim's physical points, a birthday cake, costume party accessories, a mime that shows up when the party is dead and makes it worse, party crashers that show up, eat all your food and crash on your couch and Drew Carey shows up when you throw a big party and flirts with your guests (in fact, on his webpage it said that he was such a fan that he did the voice for the "Drew Sim" for the game.) Not to forget the "bubble machine" that mysteriously looks like a hooka -- your Sims tend to giggle while they blow on it and eat lots of food afterwards. :) And don't forget the chunk of new furniture, decorations and themes you can use.

Now the bad: unfortunately there seems to be glitches in the game that I've seen a lot of. The voices seem to go to the wrong Sims (i.e., my dad snores like a little kid,) they get stuck in areas (two Sims kept trying to walk down the street and kept getting stuck and dying in the street,) and sometimes the game just plain locks up, let alone plenty of other glitches. I have no doubt that Maxis will release a patch, and it could be worse, but they should have worked out all the bugs first before releasing the pack.

If you're new to Sims you have to get the first (I think both) games to play the latest, which can cost a little bundle. It's still worth it if you find yourself addicted to Sims from watching someone else or trying someone else's game. Think of it like playing dollhouse as a kid except all of the dolls interact.

If you're a player looking to buy the new pack, you'll enjoy the new pack especially if you like the game so much. Maxis doesn't tell you everything to look for on the game and it's fun trying out new things to find. The cops always come to my parties and break it up. :) Fun but slightly buggy game. They'll probably come out with another pack soon.

Summary: fails to disappoint
Review: I bought the sims the week it came out, and became addicted from then on. It is a near flawless game, no doubt, a classic. Livin Large was great, but that only gave new objects. before this came out, it was hard for the sims to throw any kind of get together, because by the time you called 10 people, it was already 2 in the afternoon.

house party lets you throw parties, along with tons of new cool objects and things to do. It is awesome, a definate reccomend. The only complaint i have is that the other sim games ran really fast on my computer, and this one takes about 5 minutes for the game to load into the neighborhood section. its ridiculous, but its worth the loading time. My favorite new item has to be the dance floor (and the dancers that come out of the birthday cake too, duh?!?) definately reccomended.

Summary: THE SIMS!!!
Review: I think that all of THE SIMS games (THE SIMS, THE SIMS LIVIN' LARGE and THE SIMS HOUSE PARTY) are both fun and educational. It is really cool getting to control a bunch of simulated people and doing things for them like designing really cool houses and stuff like that. The game allows you to use your imagination and it teaches you how to mange money. I have been using THE SIMS for a year and I still really enjoy it. Most games that I play begin to get boring after a few months. I recommend this game to the teens out there who not yet tried it.

Summary: It's Kinda Pointless
Review: It's ok. You should get your sims a job with less working hours, because by the time your guests arrive, it's already time for you to go to work. But it's really fun once you get the hang of it. Stuff is expensive. So better start working.

Summary: House Of Fun
Review: I'm a genuine Sims enthusiast, but I'm kind of disappointed by this latest expansion pack. It has some neat stuff, though. About 8 new outfits for men and women, and 2 new outfits for girls and boys. There are also some new adult heads. And of course there are new floors and wallpapers. (But this isn't too thrilling because you can download just about any kind of floor or wall or outfit off the internet!) There are a few new doors (including a saloon door and restroom doors for male/females) and some windows (none too exciting), 2 new staircases and a transporter/elevator thing. Add to that, some new shrubs, fences, and a cactus, and your Sim's yard can look really neat. Indoors, there's new furniture. They've added some new bamboo stuff, so if you want to reinact "Survivor", that shouldn't be a problem. They've also added new decor and accessories in the themes of Western, Disco, Warehouse, and more. Then comes the fun stuff: a bubble blower, a buffet table, a cake for a dancer to pop out of, a light-up dance floor, a dance cage, etc. Plus a new option to hire a caterer. However, the price of this game seems a little steep for the amount of new stuff you get (which aint much). But if you love the Sims and can't get enough of them, this is bound to brighten up your little Sim houses and make things a little more fun. So... this is not a must-have but it's still pretty cool. (Note: I have a newish computer and with this latest expansion pack installed, the game runs a lot slower than it used to... that's kind of frustrating.)

Summary: A must have game!
Review: If you loved The Sims, and Living Large (LL) then you will love House Party (HP)! It is the kind of game that you just can't stop playing! My sisters and I haven't stop playing it!

HP gives you more neighborhoods, so if you have other people that like to play this game, you can each have your own neighborhood or two.

There are a ton of new faces and clothes, except for the little boy. He doesn't have good choices for the clothes like the girls. But anyway, the costume trunk is really cute. I had a party where everyone dressed in formal wear, because my man was proposing to my girl. And of course they got married and everyone clapped.

The camp fire is also really cute, listening to them sing is a hoot! I heard that if you chirsma is over 6 bars a ghost will appear if you tell a story. But it hasn't happen to me yet.

There are a ton of new objects, like the vase full of roses. If you have them and you let your sims have free will, one of your grownups will go and give a flower to someone. And it is so cute. Also if you have free will on and you have kids and they go to bed before the parents do, the parents will tuck the kids in. This is a sometime thing!!

New themes, and wallpapers and floors. This will give you the chance to have a really smashing party. If you decide to have a party and it is really good Drew Carey will come and stay for about 4 hours. You guest will talk about him and have him in their minds, until they leave. Even when Drew leaves they will talk about him. If you party isn't that good a Mime will come. Not a good thing. He is horrible, he makes your guest really mad and they leave. The caterer is also really cool, he will talk to you guest, check out your costume trunk, and refill the food table. The cake dances help out the party. The will come out of the cake and dance. Then they will walk around flirting with eveyone and kissing people.

This is a great game, and I don't want to spoil all the fun this game holds. So if you love The Sims, then get HP. You won't regret it!!
