Summary: Good!
Review: I have this and Unleashed. It'd be 3 stars if Unleashed never came out. Unleashed adds things really needed. What I like is that you can go on vacation, get a shower/tub, and arcade games. Go get a box of fun right now!

Summary: A lot of problems!
Review: I think Maxis may have acted too fast in the release of Superstar. While the game concept is great, it technically has a lot of problems with lock ups and choppy graphics, it also has some issues with compatibility. Maxis should have done some more troubleshooting with this one. They are happy to work through the problems with you but it's a nuisance to have it lock up and crash and constantly wait for assistance. Great concept though.

Summary: How about getting away from it all...
Review: this expansion was actually my least favorite one. I found that the vacation area was a bit cluttered, but still fun. The novices shouldnt start out with this one because of the difficulty of keeping your sims happy, but dont forget about ROSEBUD and all of those other great cheats. They really come in handy in this one.

Sorry this review wasnt such a great one.

Summary: Great!
Review: This was excellent! It helps your sims get away from the average hustle and bustle. Instead of staying home for a few days to rejuevenate and risk getting fired you can go on vacation for days and still have your job when you return! just be sure to keep them happy on vacation or things could become worse than they were when you left!

Summary: Worst Expansion Pack
Review: By rating this expansion only three stars, I am not telling you not to purchase the game beacuse it is a must-have addition to your "Sims" collection. As always, over 150 new objects including carnival games, the water slide, and fireplace with mantle are given to you in this expansion. Additionally,as you probably guessed from the title, your little Sim friends are allowed to take a vacation. Aside from the hard-to-manage cost of $500 for most Sim Families, vacationing isn't all that fun. Sure, you can play carnival games and sleep in beds away from home, but nothing amazingly amusing comes along with going on vacation. I must admit, however, that taking time of from work and school with out being penalyzed is a great plus. After Livin Large, House Party, and Hot Date, to skip out on Vacation would be a crime.

Summary: Pretty good for an expansion pack
Review: Its great not to have to worry about sending the kiddies off to school or going off to work each day. One drawback, the characters in the parks and hotels are so annoying... You will have fun with this one...=o)

Summary: only if you are willing to have your sim earn the money
Review: I was so syched when i got sims vaca. it looked so fun on the box and it was for probably the first week. Your sims have to work very hard to earn the money and even then there isn't enough left to have fun on the vacation. You can go snowboarding, swimming, meet tons of new people. you don't have to do dishes or make your bed. you can even invite your sweetie to enjoy the bahamas with you. however it is very expensive to go on vacation and your sims must pay 500 to get a ride to the hotel, and depending on wher eyou stay up to 60 simoleans every night per person! you can also choose whether to stay in s 5 star 3 star or 1 star resort. one can even build their own resort! sims vacation is definetely worth buying if your sim is in a terrible mood and needs a boost but only if you are willing to make your sim earn the money!

Summary: Trouble with the Sims games
Review: I have spent about a total of $130.00 on The Sims games. (Sims, House Party, Livin'Large, and Vacation). When I first played the games, they worked fine and they were very fun. But then for my birthday, I got the Sims Livin'Large. That game worked ok for awhile, but then the game no longer worked, and neither do my others. I've tried numerous times to uninstall, and reinstall them, but they still do not work. What happens, is, they either load all the way and shut down, or, in the middle of the game, they shut down, and you haven't saved it yet. I have spent a lot of time making houses, and putting stuff in them, and then every single time, it shuts down. I would not recommend purchasing this item for you or someone else.
