Summary: Amazing!
Review: The Sims: Vacation is the most amazing Sims expantion pack yet. While many agree it dosen't add much to the already amazing of The Sims it really adds to the space of game. Instead of making just a neighbor-hood you get to make houses and cabins on a beach, in the snow covered mountains or the woods. Or if your low on cash crash at a hotel. With over 77 new items including Wack-a-Will, new charictar mascot and much more. This game is an eccelent buy.

Summary: This is an Excellent Game
Review: The Sims Vacation is an excellent game to buy. I first played the Sims games when I was at my friends house, and now I have every expansion pack out on the market. The Sims Vacation is another wonderful expansion pack created for the original Sims game.

Unlike the other expansions, The Sims Vacation allows your Sim people to go on a vacation. You can call a friend, take your family, or visit Vacation Island alone. There are three themed areas that you can visit. The winter area is a vacation spot that allows you to go snowboarding, build a snowman, rent an igloo, and much more. The summer area is another vacation spot you can choose from that lets your Sims play a game of volleyball, build a sandcastle, go swimming, or just relax on a nice longchair. My favorite vacation spot is the camping area, where your Sims can fish, play volleyball, rent a tent, play an archery game, and do many other fun activities.

Another great thing about The Sims Vacation is that you can visit a ready-made vacation spot or you can create your own vacation spot. When creating a vacation spot of your own, you can turn the lot into a romantic getaway, make a place that is fun for the whole family, or create a unique little vacation spot that has a little bit of everything. This is one of many great features in the game.

There are also many new objects in the game such as new beds, wallpaper, and floors. There are also many new faces and clothes in the area of the game where you create your Sim.

However, if you are a Sims fanatic and have many expansions of the Sims games like me, the Sims Vacation can be a little disappointing. First of all, it is hard to believe that this small expansion pack takes up so much space on older and newer computers. There are also not as many new features added to this expansion pack as there was on other expansions to the game. I expected a lot more than what I got when I played the game.

Overall, this is an excellent new expansion to the Sims games and the good things about it outweigh the bad. It is an excellent game and you should definitely buy it.

Review: This sims vacation pack is absoultly outstanding. With the many different choses and fun filled adventures, the sims vacation is sure to get you wanting MORE!!! From camping, to snowboarding, from sunny beach locations, to having the kids go insane, this game feels almost like a real family vacation!!! But much, much funner in some cases. I really enjoyed all the the sims games but this one i would have to say out rankes them all. The other games are fun but this one gives you so much more to do!!!

Summary: Not the best
Review: The Sims Vacation is fun, it has a some new objects, a couple of new skins, and lots of new interactions with sim children. But the game gets old after a while. The only reason I would reccomend buying it is for better socal interactions with children. If you are getting an expansion pack I would check out Hot Date.

Summary: Family Vacation or Romantic Getaway? You make the call.
Review: I do not have the sims hote date yet, But I have Vacation. (Dont worry i will un intall) The Vacation vesion is fun and exciting. Pretty much eveything you put on vacation island is expensive but okay. It is best if you just have one person go with one othe person cuz then if you have 6 people go you will lose money.
I may not be a teen yet, But I know a strong tecnolgy game when I find one! I LOVE IT!

--- grettings to all serious Simmers like myself!!!!!!!!

Summary: Fun for a day...
Review: I own the Sims as well as all of the expansion packs, including this one. But this one, honestly, was the most boring. It is fun for about one day...and then u never take your Sims on vacation anymore. I would not reccomend you buy unless you enjoy paying 20 or 30 dollars for one day of low excitement.

Summary: This is the best one yet!!!
Review: I still have got House Party but i think this one is the best so far. You can choose from 3 diffrent themes to take your sims on vacation to: (all three mascots will hug your child sims) a beach with mascot marty shark,a forest with mascot archie archer, and a snow holiday with beti yeti. You can play canival games and win soviners like: a wooden monkey,a baby doll, and LOTS more. You can also fish (in the woods) treasure hunt and get money and some other suprises (at the beach) and build a snowman and share a tender moment with one of your kids (in the snow holiday) And to top it all off with you can win a vacation gold soviner if your sims keep their moods up on their vacation!!! Buy this game its truly a work of art.

Summary: A fun addition to the Sims
Review: This is basically like the other Sims expansion packs, with the addition of vacation spots for the family to travel to. There's wooded, snow covered, and beach spots for the Sims to vaction at, and if you're a fan of this game, you'll definitely want to pick it up. There's the usual new items and what I found to be really cool was the addition of souvenirs the Sims can take home with them.

If you have a slower computer (under 500mhz) this game will take forever to load and the gameplay will be a little choppy, so I recommend experiencing it on a relatively fast PC.
