Summary: Great game....but...
Review: I LOVE both RCT 1 and 2, but I am so sick of playing for objectives. There should be different versions because sometimes I just want to build a park. I want to build a park without financial restriction and objective restriction. There should be two modes: fun mode and tycoon mode. It would be sooo much better. I don't really care about the tycoon part. I'm just sick of building a park and then it gets shut down, and I have no guests, but I have this amazing park. Two modes would be SO MUCH BETTER!

Summary: I have 3 words to say:Fun,Fun,Fun!
Review: This CD is so fun! When you play you will either create your own park or you can improve and bulid the missing rides. The goal to some of the choices is to make guests happy and to make them satified. You can put alot of shops and stalls, and rides that are already built or make your own!You can even name your own park or keep it the same.Like for a Exaple:If you want to name it want you want to name it and if it already has Six Flags Over Texas on it you can change it.The rest is a surprise.Buy this you will love it! Summary: i really wanted to give it five stars, but...
Review: it could just be so much better!

PRAISES FIRST:
-the scenarios are very original and varying, and you can choose which ones you want to do in the order that you please
-the tasks are clear and precise, but sometimes too much alike
-easily operable w/the toolbar at the top
-many shops, stalls, scenery and theming to choose from, as well as oodles of rides
-i'm not sure if this is a praise, but the game is very addicting. i'm always so anxious to finish my park so i can open it and see what the people think
-the Six Flags scenarios are great. i grew up at Six Flags over Texas, and the rides were right on, but I was disappointed to see they took the bobsled out. when it didn't show up in the scenario on the game i found out it wasn't even in the park anymore. bummer. :(

SUGGESTIONS/COMPLAINTS:
-i don't have a problem w/the graphics, because i'm not really into realistic graphics anyway, but i get terribly frustrated with the viewing tools. for example-when building a roller coaster under uneven ground (Rainbow Summit) it is almost impossible to tell how far a track is from its destination, w/o changing views. and it wouldn't be so bad changing views if you didn't have other stuff (previous rides) in the way obstructing it
-the rides break down too much
-it would be nice if i could keep commands active (hide scenery) until deactivated-it's annoying trying to put in 20 bathrooms or whatnot and having to hide the scenery every single time you click on the add attractions button
-i also wish the people could be a little more original and free willed, it gets boring listening to the same complaints/comments, i'm actually starting to utilize the cheat names i dig up on the net just for a change of amusement
-hiring and assigning staff is a major chore, as well as redundantly putting in benches, trash cans, bathrooms and info kiosks-these are all basically required in any park, right? so...one feature i would die for would be an automatic assignment key that would put a certain number of benches and trash cans and such to paths; bathrooms/kiosks to blocks; and automatically assign your staff to areas. i know this takes away from the purpose of the game, but seriously, it gets to repetitive and mind-numbing, is it entirely necessary for it to be so manual!? a feature like this would give me more time (and desire) to make my park pretty by using the themes and scenery, which i really like to do the most
-maybe i'm mistaken but i though on RCT1 you could raise land w/o it going flat, and you could build paths through uneven land w/o having to level it up or down. did they take that feature out? if not, it would certainly be a pleasant addition

i guess i play this game to suppress my desires to go to a real theme park (my local isn't open year round), i want the game to be more realistic. when it lacks details like guests walking together (i mean, who goes to an amusement park alone, come on!) or game booths, or snow in Alpine Adventures instead of rain, etc...i get a little frustrated. but i'm a simple person w/a simple mind and i enjoy simple games like this one. it well deserves its four stars.

Summary: Nothing like RCT: LL
Review: This game is okay. I got it for Christmas last year and I thought it was cool. But then I got into Yugioh! and lost my passion for Roller Coasters. Then for this Christmas I got RCT:LL and it was superb. I mean RCT2 is good but it is way too slow moving around on the screen when your are in a scenario. And it takes forever for it to Quit the game. QUIT THE GAME! Come on. If you are patient then buy this game.

Summary: Good
Review: It's cool to see a ride that you've done at a Six Flags park, and with so many other advancements, it is a lot of fun.

Summary: Very addicting
Review: I got the game yesterday and believe me i havent stopped playing it is very addicting. Some of the new stuff that i live is the queing tvs for the quening lines of a ride. i also love the selection of entainers u can have for your park. there is so much stuff that i cant list them all. its a great game.

Summary: Good, but it could have more scenarios.
Review: This is a worthy succesor to RCT1. I love the tutorials, since I was having a difficult time building roller coasters people WANTED to ride on. I like the new create-a-park idea, but I have a hard time getting it to work. Still it has a lot of of the features of the RCT1 Expansion packs.(Name your employees, "real" names for your guests, etc.) There is more music, a big plus. And of course, teaming up with Six Flags to add some of their parks was a true stroke of genius.(Although why didn't they have my local park, Six Flags Darien Lake?!)The problem is, unless you by the expansion packs, there aren't a lot of Beginner, Challenging, and Expert parks. And it's nowhere near as addictive as the original. It's a good game, just not good enough.

Summary: FROM AN ADDICT
Review: Hi, my name is Jessica, and I'm an RCT2-aholic...

This game is wonderfully addictive. Ok, so the graphics arent wonderful. And the people all look exactly alike, regardless of gender. But hey, it's fun! If you like rollercoasters, you will love this game. The build-your-own coaster mode is pretty cool. I also like the build-your own scenerio mode-I built a really easy scenerio so that my little sister could enjoy the game...and she did!

If you are trying to get something done, like a school report or something of that nature, this is NOT the game for you. At least not until your project is finished. And dont count on just playing for a set amout of time either. But if you have time to waste, buy this game. You will love it!

Summary: Wow, a great find and price :-)
Review: This game is of course better than its predecessor, RCT 1, but it is much better than I anticipated it to be. I loved the feature where you can create a straight down drop, and where you can create a hanging coaster. I would say this is the best building game I have played so far. If you like this I recommend Sim City 3000 Unlimited, Sim City 4, or all those types of Sim games or Tycoon games.
