Summary: This was the best they could come up with in 5 years
Review: This was an Ok game at best definitely not worth the money, at least not now wait a year and buy it on sale, then again by then the novelty will have already worn off. For starters not enough diversity, I thought that this game would have four different races and have each race having a bunch of different units capable of being produced. I was hoping for a better AI and being able to have a larger diversity of units. Poorly done considering all the time and money that went into this game. The Players HP are high and the graphics aren't that good I personally prefer WC2 and Starcraft, they were much better titles. Ages of empires had everything that this game had except for the few cinematic movies. This game hasn't come out with anything new, it might have ruled if it had come out four five years ago but it didn't and now its just a clone of other games, with a half decent story line. This game does not live up to the standards of the series. I beat this game in less then four nights. starcraft has kept me up far longer.

Summary: the much awaited game
Review: I have a been a dedicated starcraft player, as well as Diablo, and Diablo II, and before those, warcraft II, however, after the amazing adavances they made in those other games, I found warcraft III was a big let down. It didn't improve that much after all those years it has been in the making.
I appreciate that they have created heroes, and a fourth race to play, and tried to put them in 3-d graphics, and also made it possible to change the views. But I just didn't find it as great a game as all the hype makes it up to be. It's an interesting game that I will enjoy playing, but if I had to choose between this and starcraft, starcraft would win anyday.
This game is a great game, and an enjoyable play, however don't have too high of hopes and just enjoy it for what it is. An interesting game that mixes RTS with different game elements.

Summary: Excellent
Review: The single player game is pretty fun, but you'll spend hours playing this game online. Warcraft 3 is the best PC game out there (which isn't saying much).

Summary: Nothing compared to aoe2
Review: I have always been an aoe2 = age of knights with expansion. After playing aoe2 blizzard doesn't really compare to aoe2. With aoe2 you get units that have attack bonuses vs. other units so you have to build more than one type of unit, if you run out of a certain type of resources you can use other resources to build other units. Also you can build your town anywhere and expand as much as you want. The only thing neat about wc3 is the 3d engine. Which age of mythology will have coming out in fall

Cons about Warcraft 3
Units have about as much hitpoints as the buildings
Everything looks too cartoonie
You have to have gold to build anything and you can only get it form gold minds and if you want to expand you have to build an army to kill the monsters guarding the other gold minds witch isn't an ease kill
The upkeep is lame if you have a larger army you use up more resources example: you mine 10 gold but only get 4 gold out of it using up your minds quicker and getting less resources
Basically Warcraft 2 version 2.0
No random generated maps all maps-in-o-can
Each of the 4 races don't seem to have vary many different types of units

Pro's about Warcraft 3
3d engine
Unit sharing is neat

Neutral things about Warcraft 3
One on One fights or even fights take a long time (because of the large amount of hitpoints units have)
Neutral buildings that your Hero units can control can be cool I guess but just doesn't excite me

Maybe its just me not liking this game vary much it just seems much more simpler than aoe2 I'm not saying I'm a pro at this game I'm far from it but over all it just seems too simple and limited.

Summary: Appeared easy, but then I got to the third level
Review: Well, I am a Warcraft fan since Warcraft I. I dropped out of summer school at College for Warcraft II, so of course I was ready for #3. I am also a Starcraft and Diablo / D2 fan - Blizzard does take a LONG time to make a game, but it is done right the first time!! This game is on par with others like Age of Empires, but the usage of items and special powers really mixed well the RTS / RPG together was a pleasant surprise. It seemed too easy at first, (I thought the prologue as the orc mission hehehe) and I was like, oh crud, this is weak, but them I kept on playing and I realized that the prologue was really just training. SO, it is VERY fun so far!!

Summary: Won't work on my Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop!!
Review: I was looking forward to playing this game but the CD-ROM is not recognized on my brand new Dell Inspiron 8200 laptop. I hear that it is a common problem on Dell laptops using the combo drives, something to do with the copy protection on either the drive or the CD-ROM. So if you own a similar laptop, you may want to wait till Blizzard/Dell solves the problem before buying the game.

Summary: fun fun super fun
Review: i love the game the best. the game is a little bit to much but it is the best blizzard game ever. if the unit count was maybe 150 or higher it would be even better but it is the best. also a movie like a big movie in theaters would be really good. bye

Summary: So much hype.... Fortunately, no Daikatana
Review: Yep, finally WarCraft 3 is here, long time since '96 is it not? A lot has been written and spoken of this game, yet most of those revolutinary features have not seen the light. So how do I dare give this game 5 stars? First, though its true that war 3 is not the RPG/RTS hybrid Blizzard promised almost three years ago, WarCraft III is the most enjoyable RTS this side of Red Alert 2. This is the key. What make this game so enjoyable is that it fine tunes every single aspect of RTS games, and that though mostly cosmetic, the RPG elements add quite a new dimension to classic RTSs. Toss into this mix great graphics, terrific audio and a pretty compelling story (on which I'll not comment in order to avoid spoiling its fine twists)and you have an instant winner.
Certainly, WarCraft III has a few flaws. Most of the RPG elements are merely cosmetic (of course it is a step in the right direction). The 3D engine is awesome from the default perspective, but when it zooms graphics are not quite as astonishing. Finally, Blizzard has for some time emphasized 'net play over battle.net, but i'd have loved to be able to play on other servers other than it.
As a bottomline, and I beg forgiveness to the millions of StarCraft fans, finally WarCraft has its true succesor!

Summary: a look at the newest title from blizzard
Review: Warcraft 3, the holy grail of anyone who follows blizzard. it has been in the works for quite some time now, and I think that it has been worth the wait. It completly blows away all other games in it's genre. The graphics, the gameplay, it all adds up to one beautiful piece of work. The only problem i have with it is the price tag. This is by far the most expensive game I have ever bought, but warcraft was well worth it. Parents, you may be concerned that the "teen" rating of warcraft 3 is too harsh for your youngster, but I assure you, it is all fantasy violence. new studies show that fantasy violence may actually be good for children. Giving them an imaginary world is important to growth. If you are a parent considering getting this game for your child, make them pay for at least some of it, games are not something that a child should take as a given, they should have to work for this luxury.
overall, this is one of the best games ever, a must-have for anyone who was as enthralled as I with orcs and humans in the two previous games.
Adios from Angus Rose, a 14 year old that loves his games!
