CSI: Crime Scene Investigation

Review: It's a good game. There's a lot of cases. It's challangeing (O can't spell) and it's addicting.

Summary: Fun, but TOO Easy!
Review: Although I do not watch the show CSI, I am a Criminal Justice student and after playing the demo, the game intrigued me, so I bought it.

Good News:
its fun, I'm told it's quit real to life in terms of the TV show/characters by people who do watch CSI.

Good (not Great) graphics

Few glitches.

The Bad:

It's TOO EASY! I took me maybe 20 minutes on each case, and there are only 5!

When you run your cursor around, it highlights objects that are "important", then the guy w/you tell you what to do, cast it, dust it, etc. There is no challenge, it would be a lot better w/o your partner giving you instructions, and taking points off your final score if you say tried to use the wrong tool.

Final Line:
If you are looking for a fun, easy game, you like CSI, buy it.

If you are looking for a challenging game, solving crimes/cases, etc. it's not for you.

Review: Great game it realy follows the tv show with finding evidence. The game is easy to figure out and theres even a tutorial to help you get started on how to play the game which is great. The challenge is to get the highest score possible on every case.

Review: For the fans of CSI this game is a hoot. Collecting evidence to give to Greg is a lot of fun. Some of the things about the game are frustrating, however. One is that if you follow a difficult route to solving the crime the computer will not let you move forward to bring in people for questioning or collect DNA evidence. Another is that it seems to have a hiccup when you leave a game (and save it) it goes back to the very beginning when you log on again. This means you have to go through each game to get to the one you want to finish. Still, enjoyable. The game moves quickly and you'll be left wanting more.

Review: the game is great but i was hving trouble going back to where i left off---seems i had to start over---very frustrating

Review: The graphics and sound are neat, but there's little or no repeat play value. It's too short and the only way to beat the game is to follow the "right" path.

Summary: Seriously disappointing
Review: As someone who appreciates CSI for its intelligence, I was disappointed in this game for its lack thereof. There are some really good things about it: the graphics are lovely, the chance to use the "tools" kicks arse, and having the real cast is cool. Despite all that, though, I hated it. First of all, the first case runs you through a tutorial which you have to sit through *every* time, even if you're just replaying it to improve your score. It's quite tedious. Second, on a related note, you have to sit and listen to every single word anyone says in the game, even if you've heard it before, and can't do anything else until they're done. Also tedious, especially if you're replaying a case to improve your score and already know most of what you need to. Third, you really don't do much figuring things out on your own. You just try things until something works, and then the CSI characters tell you exactly what happened. You don't have any ability to decide which clues are relevent and which clues aren't, or which evidence is worth collecting and which isn't. Fourth, what's up with this percentage crap? The important thing should be finding enough evidence, not finding all the evidence. You should be rewarded for making a case and picking the right suspect. So, basically, I felt like the game insulted my intelligence, and I regret buying it.
