Review: I beat Grim Fandango a few years back and I just recently bought the game again for a friend. For 9.99 and free shipping, that is an unbelievable deal for, argueably, the best adventure game ever made.The world of Grim Fandango is a beautifully designed one, with rich Latin inspired environments, most notably from the Aztecs and Mayans. There are over 90 different exotic locations in the game, and each one is a pure work of art. Grim Fandango encorporates a mix of Jazz and Latin music to further enhance the already visually rich environments, by setting the right "mood" for each scene. Its a wonderful combination for making the world of Grim Fandango more believable. The 55 different characters that you encounter and interact with are truly memorable, they all have their own distinct personalities and quirks that they bring to the world. One of of my favorite things that I enjoyed with the game, was seeing how the characters developed throughout the 4-year long adventure. You will see how their ideas change; some characters will move up in society, some will struggle with life, romances will develop, and so on... Other sites like gogamer.com and eb.games.com have this game for sale for 14.99 and 19.99. Amazon.com is the cheapest place you can get it and with free shipping too! Dont pass over this classic adventure, you will be immediately hooked after you play it for the first time, its THAT good.

Summary: Windows 2000 Users...
Review: Bought the game and was eager to play, hoping it would run on Windows 2000. It does, but requires a patch from the Microsoft website (there's an additional patch on LucasArts site that will fix a few "snags" in the game). Downloaded, played with no problems. It IS a beautiful, great game: short, but entertaining; slow-moving, but absorbing for puzzle-oriented people; and just difficult enough to be relaxing and not frustrating. I'm a fan!

Review: Yep, no bones about it, this is the best game I have ever played! Not only is the storyline excellent, but the graphics are awesome, also. The game interface is so simple, a four-year old could do it! But BEWARE, extremely difficult puzzles ahead.

Summary: Sorry, I just don't get it
Review: Yes, it looks great, but MY GOD, what a convoluted and complicated storyline! I quit after I heard the ridiculously-long list of things I had to do to get on the boat! As soon as I ran away, I completely forgot what I was supposed to be doing, and then realized...I DIDN'T CARE.
I didn't think Monkey Island was that great either, though, so take that into consideration. And ANYONE who says they can do these type of games in one day or without a walkthrough IS LYING.

Review: The other reviews describe the plot and gameplay, so this review will focus on the element that really makes this a game that is not to be passed up - the graphics. This is the most beautiful game I've ever played. Sure there are a lot of games that have more realistic or moodly graphics, but there are none which are more masterfully rendered. Grim Fandango presents one cut scene after another that perfectly capture the best elements of Mexican "Day of the Dead" art, film noir, and the style of Shag. I'm very tempted to buy a high quality laser printer just to capture and print images from this game to display in my den/tiki bar. Like all computer games the publishing life of Grim Fandango is limited. I urge you to buy this game now while you still can.

Review: This is a game that was enjoyed by teens to adults. Manny is very entertaining, and it keeps you interested throughout. Good graphics, no problems with running it repeatedly and for hours on end!
