Summary: Sims Hot Date Review - By Susan
Review: My daughter loves any sims game. Over the monthes that I've been watching her play, I've been hooked no watching her. I recomend this game for 9 and up.{If you don't want your child watching romantic kisses then they shouldn't play or watch this game} From the animated people's view there's lots of kissing, huging, and pasion for the other anamated person. {Don't worry people in this game can not be, or get gay it's not that unepropet I may add.} My daughters also fight on who gets to play it. I should probally mention that after you get the game going, you can take it out and put it in another computer so that another person can play at the same time, and get this it doesn't mess up the game when you do this, which I think is very cool. So have fun playing this very interesting game. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.

Summary: Great, but can take away fun!
Review: I really enjoy sims and wanted to buy hot date. I enjoy it, it's fun, but sims iis now so slow! Before, sims worked at a reasnoble speed, but now it really is annoying. It's worth it though, downtown mode is just great, I love it! Keep on making more, Maxis!

Summary: The Best of The Sims
Review: This expanshion pack is awsome. I'm obsessed with The Sims and I have all of the expansions except for vacation (I'm getting as soon as I can). Hot Date has been the best so far. It has tons of new interactions, new objects, new skins, and best of all you can go downtown! You have GOT to get this game!!

Review: This game is a great add on to The Sims. It is an amazing step for tThe Sims to be able to travel outside of their house and I think it turned out well. In this game you will meat many new characters and many new places will be introduced. it is very fun and a great add on. I strongly recomend it to all sims fans.

Review: after reading a lot of these reviews i've noticed that a lot of people seem to be complaining that it was really slow if u didn't have all the space. true, it was slower on my sister's laptop (256), but on my dad's computer and mine (we both have 512) it was fast. I think it's with laptops because my mom's computer (also 256) works almost just as well as me and my dad's. and my friend's laptop is slow with this as well. you can't blame maxis...laptops in general, no matter the amount of memory, are slower because they aren't directally connected.

Summary: Better than all other expansions so far....
Review: This is an excellent expansion on "The Sims" just because you have so many options and it is much much much more realistic. It takes more than a day for your Sims to fall in love and sleep together and there are so many more normal interactions. For example, instead of "greet" there are handshake, hug, kiss, wave, ect. There are great things you can add in terms of furniture and also it is a great idea for people to be able to go out into town. I do admit that it is a bit frustrating to me that it is SO much harder to get people to fall in love, or even just to be friends which is why I am giving this four stars instead of five, but it's just an amazing game overall! (Definately not for people who are easily obsessed..LOL)

Summary: Wow! (That's pretty much the only word that can describe it)
Review: The Sims just keeps getting better and better with the latest technology and countless new features, which is definitely proved by the third expansion, Hot Date. New steamy interactions, new....um....encouraging objects, and a great new feature--you can actually leave the house to go downtown!! FINALLY!! Anyway, there are new interactions. I don't mean just simple interactions, but different choices for each interaction. Do you get what I am sayin'? Just one example of this is hug. There has always been a hug interaction. However, now there are special typees of hugs, which include: friendly, intimate, leap into arms, and romantic. Another is flirt. New choices for this incluse growl and check out. Kiss also has many new types. Be careful though--if you choose the wrong one of these many choices, you just might get a slap across the face. One totally new interaction is "take home." If you are downtown, and you think something is going on, choose this. Otherwise, beware. This could end your date and possibly even your relationship. Also, now you have a daily relationship score and a lifetime relationship score. Daily relationship means how you feel about them that particular day. Lifetime relationship means whether or not your sim thinks that he/she could have something more than just a cruch going on. Some "encouraging" (as I had called them before) are the love seat (which really lives up to its name, if you know what I mean) and the love bed, which vibrates, and your sims can "play in bed." (they go under the covers and bark and moan and move around, but you don't see anything, so don't worry about little kiddies--they won't see anything.) There are also new objects, home makers, and skins. Going downtown is great. You can go on a date with someone by inviting them with you, or you can go there by yourself and try to get someone. The only disadvantage is that you can only control your character and you can only bring one other person with you, unlike the Vacation expansion pack, where you can take and control your entire family. Anyway, back to Hot Date. You can shop, eat, dance, and more downtown. I highly recommend this game to any Sim lover.
