Summary: A Must-Buy for any gamer in your life
Review: Let me first start by saying I was once quite against first-person-shooters. Games that encouraged you to run mindlessly around, shooting other people, didn't seem to have much value. That was until I played CounterStrike, though. I've always been a HUGE fan of strategy. Games that encouraged you to think, to plan ahead and to execute the plan as a team, really thrilled me. When I saw my first games of Counterstrike, it was like watching Band of Brothers on HBO. One unit worked together to the left, while another coordinated on the right. Each followed the plan closely to capture the flag. Yes, you knocked out the enemy. But it was in the persuit of a goal, to achieve an objective. It was AMAZINGLY fun! Some people might object that it's bloody, that it promotes people killing people. If you're going to worry about games that have winners and losers, then any game of tag, or dodge-ball or 'cowboys and indians' is going to fall victim. Here, people who are shot respawn so they can regroup with their team. The victory goes to the smartest team with the best plan - the team that works well together and defends each other. I don't know of a better objective for a game. Best of all, being a net game, this can easily be played as a family. Your uncle in Texas, your aunt in Mississippi, and your cousin in California can join into the game, all playing vital roles regardless of their location, age, sex, color, or anything else. I highly recommend this as a game for anyone over 12, and I'd encourage you to get a few copies to give to other friends and family members. You're going to need them!

Summary: This Game is the best!
Review: This game is the best multiplayer in existance. I am addicted to it. The only problem is cheaters, but that can be fixed by using Punkbuster. Punkbuster is an anti-cheating program, which allows you to access Punkbuster-only games. Lag is another problem, but if you have cable, DSL, or T1, it won't be much of a problem at all.

Review: Oh my lord (Counter-Strike, that is), I beg of you to let me frag a few cheaters with the M4A1. Ok, sorry about that. Anyway, Counter-Strike is one of those games that lets you experience real world battles with GET THIS -- REAL GUNS. Ever heard of the AK-47? Its in there. The MP5Navy? Its there too. Oh, and lets not forget the all powerful AWP Sniper Rifle Magnum. If you need something to do, or if your life is already too busy, then get off your uh.. seat.. that.. uh.. you're.. uh.. sitting.. on.. and GET THIS GAME. (...) Summary: The Best Addon For Any Game Ever Made
Review: This is one of the best games I have ever played. A group of friends and I would get together and hold tournaments. In this game you take the place of either Counter-Terrorist or Terrorist. Each side has different mods and guns. There are hundreds of scenarios to choose from and more people play this game than the original Half-Life. This game can get tense and requires and good knowledge of the keyboard and quick reflexes and fingers. And you can set it to where your allies can be hurt by your shot or not depending whether or not you like the game more realistic. All in all, I would buy this game if you even remotely love first person shooter games. A good buy, you won't regret.

Summary: Was entertaining, but lost value.
Review: I started playing Counterstrike nearly when it first came out, beta 4. The game used to be fun, but eventually, do to cheaters, the game deteriorated. Many people play this game in ways that many would consider cheating, or unfair play. Due to the frustration caused by this, the game has lost its value. Also, many people don't play as a team, but instead go solo or "rambo style" as I like to call it. Considering this is a teamplay game, when people don't play as a team, it really is no longer fun. Another thing about this game is that it has optional voice chat. I don't know about you, but I don't want to hear some little kid barking orders to me, let alone do I want to hear some people talking about anything while I'm playing this game. In conclusion, this game is not worth it anymore. It'll be fun for a few weeks, but once you get used to it, the game is no longer fun.

Review: this is the best game and i mean it. it has many guns, and different types of bombs. there r many modes which include playing against others on the internet. it doesn't giv u the creeps, like max payne, and metal gear solid. i suggest u buy this game because from my opinion, it is amazing.
