Review: It has the best levels and good multi-play I highly recommend this game. It is worth your money!

Summary: The Best Shooter Yet
Review: First, I'd like to say that I never liked Medal of Honor. I never felt engaged in it, as neither did my friends. So, do not feel like if you have not played or liked MOH, then you will not like Call of Duty.

There are two very different sides of this game: Single Player and Multiplayer. Single player is truly incredible. It does not feel like your in a movie; it feels like your in a battle that will soon be a movie. It takes you through missions that make your blood filled with adrenaline. It makes you turn your volume up to full blast to hear the gunshots in the distance, and to be scared as hell when someone shoots at you. It is completely mind blowing.

Now, the Multiplayer is different. I can guarentee you that you will love Single Player, but Multiplayer is a different ball-game. You have to be good to enjoy Multiplayer... and I mean really good. And you cannot aquire the skills through Single Player. Therefore, you must go through a stage of being terrible and getting your butt kicked by 10-year-olds. And I'm not joking. I beat Easy fairly easily in SP, but I got killed in MP.

However, once you get good, a whole bunch of things start to happen. Clans come into the picture. You start owning everything. I went back to play Single player on the hardest level possible, and I went through it without dying once. No loading, no anything.

The game has provied countless hours of fun for my friends and I. I just thought that I wouldn't be doing the game liberty without writing this review.

Summary: A near classic
Review: Other reviewers have commented on the realism and immersive quality of CoD and it is a step forward in the tradition of Medal of Honor and IL2 in that regard, though there are some caveats. The Russian campaign is the most realistic and immersive of the three and the British is the least realistic (particularly trying to sabotage the Tirpitz and blowing up the V2 site). Likewise, the system of encountering first aid packs that heal the player are a sometimes jarring reminder this is, after all, only a game. The game is extremely linear - you are forced to take one and only one path. To cause this, doors do not open and, despite the end titles, you cannot get over even small fences unless it is the path you are to take. This linearity takes away much of the replay value in this relatively short game, since you know the second time through exactly where to go, where the Germans are, what weapons you will need, etc. Coupled with the shortness of the game (as short as Max Payne 2), it has little to offer the single player after the first run through. The multiplayer component is very good, though the slightest lag will mean emptying your weapon into an enemy's back only to see nothing happen, and invites squad-based team competition. Only the most dedicated WWII FPS online fans will be able to easily choose between CoD, MoH, or AA.

(Rant: We will probably see a number of expansion packs coming out soon - that is the trend in current gaming. A short game at high price followed by a number of expansions that probably should have been in the original game in the first place.)

Despite my pointing out some of the negatives (and ranting!), I still give Call of Duty 4 stars: the immersive nature of the game far outweighs the linearity, the single player portion is remarkably stable and bug-free, and the Russian campaign highlights an area only recently making its way into games. I have no hesitation in recommending it.

Summary: Kicks ...
Review: This game rocks it is so intense. It is not like other games where you are practicllly invincible you actully have to duck and avoid bullets. The Guns and outfits are realistic.l It was short but thats fine I just hope they come out with more expansion packs like for Vietnom. you can hit some one with you gun. and the themes are cool you use squad tactics and the enemys are smart if they even see a glimpse of you they will fire in that direction.Get the game now

Summary: If you dont own this game you must buy it now
Review: Call of Duty is one of the bst games out there. Sure there are great games like BF1942. This game beats out all the others. The ai's are much smarter thean the ones in Medail of Honnor. This game has 6 (i think) different intensadity levesl insted of the normal 3 or 4. This game takes you through the special missions and through great fought battles this game is a must buy. Go Noter Dame

PS: Another great game is Simpsons Hit and Run (GC)

Summary: Too much!
Review: This is one of the greatest FPS of all time. Although none can match up to Medal of Honor: Allied assault, This one's the closest I've found. It got great graphics, sound, multiplayer, replay value, and it's historically accurate. If your looking for a well rounded fun FPS, this is the one.

Summary: Call of Duty
Review: This game has great graphics. It is fast paced and hard to stop playing. That may be the reason it doesn't take very long to finish. It wasn't overly short but not as long as your average FPS. Still, overall a great game worth buying!

Summary: GReat
Review: Very fun single player game, slightly improved graphics over MOHAA and decent historicall accuracy maybe not as much as MOHAA but good. Multyplayer sucks cause all the Geek Fruits from Counter strike come and play... they really ruin it. They sit there and hop around like bunnys with mp40 or ppsh's or whatever really annoying. The germans main issue weapon was not the mp44 and mp40 but the k98. But if you are using one you are bound to be slaughtered.
