Summary: Best First Person Shooter Ever!!!
Review: Well PC Gamer has said this about Call of Duty:
"EARTH SHATTERING!"
"The year's best shooter."
"...Call of Duty could replace Half Life as the best shooter ever made."
"The action game of the year has arrived."
"You don't need Band of Brothers when there's a PC Game this all-absorbing."
"I did not see a motion picture in 2003 that grips me like Call of Duty does."
"Just when I thought the WWII genre was getting tired on PC, this game has made me forget about ANY before it."
"Its the new Medal of Honor, but ten times better..."

...

After playing both of the demo's (the first one was called "Burnville") I can say personally that I feel this is the best FPS game (demo anyway) I've ever played! Medal of Honor used to be my favorite until now...

Summary: Call of Duty is awesome!!!!!!
Review: Call of Duty looks great! After looking at the demo, movies, and screenshots, Call of Duty looks like it may be one of the best first person shooter games coming out this year (along with Half Life 2). I personally, after seeing trailers of both games, like Call of Duty more than Half Life 2 because of the squad based combat that focuses on the fact that you can't win a war all by yourself.

Call of Duty has great sounds, good controls, and has some pretty awesome scripting and AI. A ingame film clip showed a Russian assault trying to take control of some German positions in Stalingrad. Hundreds of ill-equiped Russian conscripts are shown running across the battlefield. Almost never, has there been a first person shooter of such epic proportions.

If you like first person shooters, you should definately take a look at Call of Duty. Even if you aren't a fan of shooter games, check it out anyway because it is one of the most promising FPS games of this year!

Summary: review of the Demos
Review: I've played the single player demo, and I've also seen 3 gameplay movies. I think it's fair to call this the succesor to MOH:AA. The feeling I got from playing this demo reminds me of MOH:AA.

Sound, Graphic, Control...it's all so crisp and precise.

I noticed that you have an unlimited number of reinforcement. I'm hoping it's limited for the full release to give challenge. As it stands, that's the only 'flaw' I can see in the game thusfar.

Summary: 3 stars? YOUR NUTS!!!
Review: The reviewer who gave this 3 stars based on the sound in the demo is NUTS! Everyone knows that demo's don't necessarily include all ambient sound and sound features in the full release! That's why they call it a demo brother!

Dudes, anyone who played the demo knows that this is the next WW2 shooter to buy. I went and sold a bunch of older PC games just to make sure that this one is paid off.

THIS WILL BE THE MOHAA KILLER - DO YOU HEAR ME SOLDIER!

Summary: Stunning
Review: Increidble visionaries decide to program another game and bless us with it. I want to buy this game. THe attention to detail is admirable. The ability for players to drop weapons, lean around, go prone, et cetera, is exactly what this genre needs more of. a realistic shooter.

Summary: The WW2 Shooter of the Future
Review: After playing the DEMO I am distinctly impressed with this game, not only is it created by 22 of the memebers who created the original outstanding Medal of Honor: Allied Assault, it is going to include a lot of the features which Medal of Honor lacked, like iron sights aiming, prone positioning, realistic weapon handling and squadmates who actually have useful AI rather than being dim-witted cannon fodder.

The atmosphere the demo builds is awesome, the lighting the sounds and the effects blend perfectly to make you beleive you are there. Plus it ran smoothly without a hitch maxed out on my system. A nice new feature which I particularly like is the shell shock you get when a mortar lands near you.

The AI is very good, with your squaddies moving and acting realistically, and actually using cover. The Germans acted the same and it felt so much more like you were actually in the middle of a fire fight, NOT slogging it alone with a bunch of todlers at your side ala Medal of Honor. Don't get me wrong Medal of Honor is one of my all time favourite games but I am of the opinion that after these guys left the development team it wasn't the same, just look at how bad Spearhead and Breakthrough are compared to the original. The reason for this is that these guys know their stuff, they know how to do it right, and thats how I know I'll be playing this rather than the future Medal of Honor titles.

Summary: OUTSTANDING, SOLDIER!!
Review: I played the DEMO, and it is the finest shooter I have ever played (the next best is Medal of Honor). The CALL OF DUTY team is the same group of guys that made MEDAL OF HONOR. These guys know fun and quality and fire on all pistons... if you like realistic shooters, DO NOT HESITATE.. buy this game on November 4th, 2003!!!!

And if you have not played the MEDAL OF HONOR series, BUY IT NOW... it is beyond belief good!

Summary: Real War...
Review: Introducing Call of Duty, a new, first-person, action game for the PC. Developed by Infinity Ward--a newly formed studio including 22 of the individuals, and all of the production leads, who developed the PC title Medal of Honor: Allied Assault.

Call of Duty delivers the gritty realism and cinematic intensity of World War II's epic battlefield moments like never before--through the eyes of citizen soldiers and unsung heroes from an alliance of countries who together helped shape the course of modern history. Play through the chaos of battle as part of a well-trained squad, that lays down covering fire and pulls its wounded to safety. In addition to authentic squad movements and tactics, each soldier's distinct personality and training comes out on the battlefield.

Summary: Good But Needs Work
Review: I just played the demo of "Call of Duty" and really enjoyed it. The squad format works really well but to me the sound is inferior to any "Medal of Honor" title. I have high end speakers and COD just doesn't approach the magnificient sounds of MOH. Maybe they will beef them up in the release.
Oterwise, I intend to buy it.
