Summary: Expansion pack not worth money
Review: I found that the expansion pack was not worth the money that I paid for it. It gives you new stuff, but unlike the original, it doesn't stay fun for as long. Please do not use this for the original. RCT #1 is wonderful.

Summary: A Warning of Sorts
Review: If you played and enjoyed Rollercoaster Tycoon, then Corkscrew Follies will give you more of the same kind of fun. The other reviews here adequately describe the new features. What they don't say is that the new scenarios are harder (in some cases MUCH harder) and that the original scenarios are no longer available after you install this expansion. So you can't use any of the new features with the original game.

Summary: Even better than the original
Review: I loved the original but this one is twice as good . The scenarios are really cool and the roller coasters are the bomb. If you liked Roller Coaster Tycoon, you will love Corkscrew Follies.

Summary: The Best Add-on for any game!
Review: I loved the origional Roller Coaster Tycoon game. Corkscrew follies adds over 25 new scenarios, new roller coasters, new rides, etc. For any person who has Roller Coaster Tycoon or anyone who wants to get it this add-on is a definate buy.

Summary: It is GREAT
Review: This is a gread add-on for the original Roller coaster. You get more flexibility and ride choices. After beating most of the original scenarios, I liked having 25 new ones. I suggest that everyone buys it. I hope they will come out with a program called Footpaths of Roller Coaster Tycoon. You are a guest, and you ride rides and buy food.

Summary: It's like a whole other game
Review: This expansion is more than an addition to the original Rollercoaster Tycoon game, it's like a whole other game. Besides the original features (see my review for RCT) this game includes 25 new scenarios, new roller coaster types, new attractions (rides, ride enhancements, stalls, and shops), new colors and painting techniques, new landscaping items, new landscaping themes, more entertainers, and more.

That may seem like a lot of new things, but it's less than it seems. That's why I gave it four stars. Another thing: almost all of those things have to be earned in one way or another. Like you have to get the rest of the scenarios by starting with the first five new ones (like the original game), and you have to research the attractions, themes, entertainers, etc.

Another cool feature is that you can have almost all the rides play music. There are a lot of them too (like rock, techno, gentlle, horror...) and it really adds a lot of life to the park, to you and your guests. As a whole (the RCT and the expansion) this game is a sure winner. But Corkscrew Follies alone is not the best or the biggest expansion for RCT, but it's sure worth the $$.

Summary: Good, but not Great
Review: After playing the original for 6 months, I was hoping for a bit more flexability and freedom in designing the park grounds. The designers did pack it with more visuals and rides, but what I would like to see if a new (hopefully) add-on pack comes out, is the ability to design a park from the ground up. Literally. Where is the ultimate scenario? A huge plot of land to manipulate, access to every ride and themeing there is, and a big bank roll to get you off to designing the ultimate park. Buy this one, but lets hope Chris Sawyer gives us more.

Summary: Corkscrew Follies
Review: This AWWSOME add on pack is the perfect gift for any Roller Coaster Tycoon lover. It at least double's the sise of the game.

Summary: Corkscrew Follies Review
Review: Roller Coaster Tycoon was a great game, but the only problem with it is it does't let you be free, and build whatever you want. Neither does the expansion pack, but it is a lot better then the orginal, besides the fact that it takes away a great ride, the Superman thing (The roller coaster that shoots you strait up). However, it does add some awesome roller coasters, like the steel twister (which is like The Hulk or Kumba), which lets you do a lot more. Overall, I would give this game 4 stars because it still doesn't let you build freely, but it is a good add on pack.

Summary: How to ruin an already great game
Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon was a good game except for the fact that they kept requiring the gamer to meet a stupid goal, instead of just designing a park to what they saw would fit the landscape. It could be enviromentally safe or not. Also they needed to allow design and testing and installing of new rides during the winter closing (Oct-Mar). Now with the Corkscrew Follies expansion pack they have gotten even worse by devalueing the park each month so you always have to keep building up the park to keep from letting they value of the park diminish. Haven't the designers of this game expansion heard of land value, or inflation, or even increased value of used rides, that can actually be sold for more than you originally paid for them. But formost on the list on how not to ruin what should be a fun game is forget the idea that there has to be some goal to shoot for and let the gamer JUST HAVE FUN! .
