Summary: The Best Game in the History of Mankind!
Review: Okay, maybe that's a bit much, but this game rules! The original version is great (you need it to play the Expansion Pack), so buy it and this. I don't know yet if Sim Theme Park is any good, as I haven't played it yet, but it will have to go a long way in order to top this super, ADDICTIVE game. I haven't played Sim City since I bought Roller Coaster Tycoon. The different rides and the roller coasters are great. But building your own coasters and water slides is the really fun part. I can't say enough about this game. Buy it, and then clear your schedule, because you won't be traveling very far from your computer screen!

Review: When they released this game I was so excited. I didn't think it could be much better than the first one. When I played the game I was impressed. There are twenty-five new scenarios. They are a bit harder than the first Roller Coaster Tycoon, but still easy. There is new scenery option and you can put up banners. You can also paint rides different colors at different parts.

There is also eight new roller coaster types. There are quite a bit of new rides also. The only thing the game lacks is a lot of new thrill rides. The game is still fun and addicting. (If you want this game buy Loopy Landscapes. It includes Corkscrew Follies).

Review: Rollercoaster Tycoon is the best game EVER. If you like to build stuff or just love Themeparks this is the game for you. You can custom build rollercoasters, car rides, or even Go Karts. You can paint your rides and give them your own names. The only thing I don't like about the game is that there is no night time and you can't make hotels and let your guests stay over night. Other than that it is the BEST GAME EVER!!!!!!!!!!!

Summary: A pleasing expansion for a great game
Review: For benefit of the doubt, I gave Corkscrew Follies 4 stars, because 3 was too low and there is no 3.5. Yes, Corkscrew Follies is a decent and pleasing expansion to Roller Coaster Tycoon and offers many new scenarios and editing capabilities to the original, but it seemed slightly rushed and there were many obvious additions that should have been made but were not. Let's hope they end up in the second expansion slated for the summer of 2000.

There are a few more Roller Coasters, and Gentle Rides, and a Great expansion of the shops and stalls one can build. However, I was a bit let down with the minimal amount of Thrill Rides. Also, though Scenery was expanded and what was added is beautiful, it could have gone much, much further.

A real nice addition is the ride 'foot-printing' and the sound files for specific rides, and the expanded color options. The detail on sprites and new graphics is incredible.

Now the scenarios...Yes, unlike many expansion this does very well in delivering MANY more scenarios that will keep you posted to your screen for hours on end, you definitely get your moneys worth here. However, where as the original scenarios were a tad easy, the expansion scenarios are a bit hard at times. You are so rushed on meeting requirements at times, you don't have the time to truly design the ride you wanted to make, but rather forced to using the pre-built coasters in any available space you can find. This detracts from the main function of the game...the chance to build and experiment your own steel monsters.

Review: This item is one of rollercoaster tycoon's expansion pack. This expansion pack is a great game for who likes RCT.

First, this game includes some new features like new rides, buildings, foods, and stuff. It's got lots of improvments like when you click on a ride when it's moving, in Rollercoaster tycoon you can't see the train when it's underground but in this game the screen automaticlly turn into underground view when the ride is underground. And your park is going to be full of music because almost every ride can play some different styles of music like Rock, HORROR style, oriental, fantasy,Martain style and more great
cool musics so you won't get a boring quiet park any more(Of course you can turn off the music if you want to).

And there are tons of new rides that you can find in real theme parks. there are new coasters like high-intense steel twister, steel mouse, and mild rides are cool too. like the ghost trains, cycle railways and stuff. And there are new improvments too the rides like new trains, cars, tracks, and more. And some problems in rollercoaster tycoon like park view problems and more so you can play the game more fun and easy.

And new scenarios are challenging. At first the scenarios are easy (not that easy) but after you win about 15 scenarios the scenarios begin too get hard and challenging. It's like this:
you have to gather 900 guests in are park with dangerous rides and in an another scenario you can't do advertisments. So if don't have enough experience your going too have a hard time too win it. But if you want some extreme hard scenarios this is a great game.

This game's fixed some problems at Rct and added new features and improvements so it's great for who likes Rct.
But this game's problem is that you can get this expansion pack in Rct new expansion pack Loopy landscapes so I recommend that game.
This game is worth 5 stars but this game is included in loopy landscapes so I gave 4 stars.

Summary: What An Addition!
Review: I reviewed RollerCoaster Tycoon and gave it 5 stars, and now im giving its expansion pack 5 stars as well because the pack offers even more than the original.

The pack includes MORE scenarios to progress through; and theses are not the easy, take-your-time, leave-the-game-running kind of scenarios. They challenge you to rapidly build a thriving park in some very difficult areas. While they do challenge you, the scenarios do give you plenty of time to design, change, and deploy your own coaster creations. You dont (and sometimes cant, because of park dimension) need to use the pre-fabricated coasters because of time restrictions.

The addition of theme banner signs, MORE park themes including "Jungle" and "Jurassic" (very cool), as well as tons of new rides and stalls makes this pack more than just an addition. Its almost a brand new game. New walkways are available for use with awesome new terrains.

This expansion pack should not be an option for you if you completed the original RollerCoaster Tycoon. If you liked it well enough to finish, you will LOVE the expandion pack. New rides, themes, terrains, stalls, and walkways mean you will never view similar parks again!

Summary: Just what I needed!
Review: Eureka! Cool new stuff for my favorite game! There are funny new rides, including some historical rides, new themes and scenery elements, a few minor functional improvements (Including the option to build on-way paths, I've been wanting this so bad!) and - most important - lots of new scenarios! This is not really revolutionary new stuff but a well-designed expansion pack that gives you more of the same and then some. The only thing that's missing is a scenario editor.
If you are a Roller Coaster Tycoon addict, this thing is more important than your Social Security Number! If you play RCT only occasionally, then this is still by far not the worst way to get rid of your hard earned bucks. At this price it's a steal anyway.

Summary: One of the Best Simulated Games I've played!!
Review: In my opinion, if you are thinking of buying Corkscrew Follies, you should. I think it has good graphics and sounds. The game never gets boring! There are so many different types of rollercoasters and desings are unlimited. You could build the rollercoaster of your dreams!

There could be a little more shops though, and different styles of bathrooms besides the same plain bathroom.

The scenarios can be a little challenging I have found. I think the ones where you have to get x amount of people in your park before october year 3 or so on to complete is easier than having to get a park value of 17k by then.

All in all, I think it is a pretty good game, I haven't played RCT2 so, all I know is that this is the best sim. game I've ever played!

Review: This is a perfect addition to Roller Coaster Tycoon. With this game, Roller Coaster Tycoon, and the Roller Coaster Tycoon Expansion Pack: Loopy Landscapes you should be able to design the ultimate amusement park on your PC. This game will work with Windows XP Home Edition, although you might have to run it in windows compatibility mode.

Summary: Great game but...
Review: This game wus really awesome in a way and really disapointing in a way. I loved it because it wus so addicting and it had music, abstract hypertrain carts and real parks. But one day i wus playing and it just crashed. i tried running it again and it said acception raised, access violation, gsk, or something. and on the origional it would not let me load saved games. i wus mad because all these bugs were messing it up. i had used a trg trainer(cheats) when i wus getting extra money in it and it crashed and started messing up and wouldnt quit. now i am searching into this right now.just way to many bugs...
