Review: Ive been reading these reviews and i have no idea how sombody couldnt like this game. i think its better than BYB 01 but not much better. Some new players that are very good are Pujols, Helton, Glaus. with most pro hitters its better to have an open stance and its easier to hit the ball farther. they make ichiro look like hes really good but hes really not. the only good part is that hes fast. he cant hit for ..., closed standce, open stance, or squared stance. without a doubt pablo sanchez isthe best hitter on the game next to griffey who has the sweetest swing. One of my seasons had achmed khan with 16HR and 42RBI and pablo with a whopping 21HR and 40RBI! althought it was on medium. easy is too easy and hard is VERY hard. The best pitcher is without a doubt randy johnson and hudson and radke arent too good. well im gonna write anothe eview with the kids from the pro team that I would choose. peace out and enjoy the game! - JohnG

Review: I enjoy the backyard series, but backyard basketball is disappointing. It dosen't include enough pro players, the power-ups are terrible, and the season is too long.

Review: I have not bought this game yet but I have played it at school. Me and my friends loved it. At first it might seem like a little kids game but you need strategy to play this game and that is what makes it fun. The game is perfect for anyone from a beginner like one of my friends who played the game at school to an experienced player like me. I would recomend that you get this game if you can't decide which "Backyard" game to get (and that is coming from a baseball fan).

Review: Backyard Baseball is a really cool game.I like playing in the world series.I also like playing just a normal game.In a normal game you get to take turns picking you're players.Anyway in the world series my team is unbeatable.My team is called the mighty melonheads.I also have a team called the junior wombats and a team called the blue bombers.But my favorite team is the mighty melonheads.

Summary: Backyard Baseball 2003
Review: I bought this for my 9-year old grandson three or four months ago, and he just loves it. The game permits him to make many choices, so that he feels he can play the way he wants. He is a super baseball player and fan, so he needs to be kept challenged. This games does this for him.
He constantly reminds me that althought this is a good game, it's not the greatest because it doesn't have Mark McGwire in the lineup. However, it doesn't keep him from playing and enjoying the game.

Review: This game has fun gameplay, but could be more realistic. You can hit a 3-pointer, half-court shot, and whole court shot almost every single time! And anyone can dunk, and just tell me, HOW CAN A KID IN A WHEEL-CHAIR DUNK!!!! These kids shouldn`t be able to hit EVERY SINGLE shot!!!! Some of these people make every 3-pointer they shot. I was doing training, and I was Dimitri Petrovich, and I was shooting half-court shots, and when I finally reached 236 in a row, I just decided to quit. Like come on, no one in real life could do that. You can buy it from me if you want, and i`ll give you a free cd case too for getting this THING and WASTE-OF-TIME out of my life. DONT BUY!!!!!!!

Summary: The Best Baseball Game Ever!
Review: This game is great and a little challanging! The menus are very simple. There are 2 modes that you can play on. A single game mode and season play mode. In single game mode, if you want certain players on your team you have to get them quickly because your opponent can get them before you do. A cool part of single game mode is that you can play tee-ball and watch a demo! On season mode you pick your players first so you have all the players that you want. Each player has four ratings, Batting, Running, Pitching and Fielding. There are three game levels. (Excluding tee-ball mode) A way that makes the game challanging is that there is pluses and minus'. Pluses make them stronger in a rating and minus' make them lower in a rating.If you want to play season mode I reccomend you first play some single games and watch some demos. Also you should start at easy level and work your way up to medium then hard. Heres a tip. Never get Sammy Sosa and Barry Bonds! They get tired to easily and get lots of minus'. A very fun game!
