Review: First of all, you guys in America are complaining the game comes out in August, well, here in England it doesn't come out until October! (sigh)Count yourselves lucky!The original Sims is so much fun, and this looks even better!
Here are some new features: Create-a-sim When you create your sims you will be able to chose eyes and their colour, hair syle and it's colour, make up, and with the nose, cheeks and lips you can stretch them, make them thinner or fatter, wider, etc .Your sims can age- baby/toddler/child/teen/adult/grandparent/death (you can turn the aging off) .Sims have weekends .Your sims will have a diary and they record special moments like their first kiss etc .Teens, adults, and grandparents can get jobs .Your sims will have DNA so they look like their parents .You can have three stories to a house (not 4, that's are rumour) .Houses can be built on hills .Doors and windows can be placed diagonally .There are tons more interactions! Like a 'Grandma hug' which a kid will give it's granny. .The Sims 2 is totally 3D. .You can zoom in very close and turn the camera round at ease (not 3 zooming in and 4 rotations) .Sims are more life like eg they have facial expressions and fingers. .Sims hair will swing when they walk and they will act appropriatly around different people. .You will be able to tell if a sim is shy or lazy etc by their body language. For example, a shy sim might rub their arm or look down. Review: I believe this game will be the best Pc selling game ever!
Why? This is all the options that we will enjoy and have for thesims 2.

Building Options - Create mountains, build multiple story homes, with basements, put doors and windows on diagonal walls. Calendar - The new sim calendar will work by the week instead of month. (ie your kids birthday is next Monday). Cameras - Now you can place cameras all around the room to capture a party from all angles. Careers - For adult sims, there wi.ll be 18 careers, with 10 levels each. For teen and old sims there will be 7 careers, with 3 levels each. Also elderly sims will receive a pension upon retiring. Diaries - Now you will be able to create video as well as snap shot diaries of your sims life. Family - The family limit will still be set at 8. But new to TS2 is the ability to create all ages, except infant, in the create-a-sim area. So you could start out with a Mom, teen, and toddler if you wanted. Leaving the house - The only option to leave the home right now, is to send your sims to their second home, which you can also create. However a communal area is being considered. Life Moments and Big Decisions - These will effect your life score, and also have an effect on your sim as they get older. Some of these included: Toilet training, first step, first kiss, first crush, getting a job, getting married. Will Sims actually get pregnant? Will they still have to kiss to have a baby? - Yes! Sims will get pregnant but instead of kissing, a 'play' feature can be used in a bed or hot tub. What is the Create-a-Sim tool? Is there going to be a demo of it? -The Create-a-Sim tool is a program that will allow you to completely customize every aspect of your Sims facial featurues. This will allow you to make any Sim you want! Even yourself! And yes, there is to be a demo release of it between August & September. What about clothing customization? - Clothing articles will now be seperate from each other! Meaning that a pair of pants will be seperate from a shirt, creating alot more ways to mix & match! Can you customize hair/make-up, too? - Yes! In the Create-a-Sim program you will be able to change hair color & style, & apply make-up to your sims. You are also able to do this during game play using special objects such as mirrors. Will there be more than 2 floors? - Yes! I've seen as many as 3 floors, plus a basement, for a total of 4! Review: I checked my computer which is about two years old and it's more than capable of handling the game. Like, I have "P4", and 40 GB of hard drive, (I'm a pack rat). And a more advanced video card than they suggest. I have 256 MB RAM but I may increase that anyway, rather be safe... T&L video cards started shipping around 3 years ago, so if you got your computer in the last couple of years you should check and see if you have a T&L card. It's always a good idea to make sure you have the most current drivers for your video cards. The manufacturers usually have the video drivers on their sites for you to download. Visit the nVidia site or the ATI for the latest drivers for those video cards.

Summary: THE BEST!!!
Review: I think this will be the best game the sims have ever made - I am only 13 and I have been playing the Sims since when they first came out in 2000 - I now have The Sims Deluxe, Vacation, House Party, Unleashed, Hot Date, SUperstar, Making Magic, Online-Charter Edition, Sims City 4 + Rush Hour expansion pack, Theme Park, and basically I have ALL the other Sims I have not mentioned and I preordered Sims 2 in December. Visit www.thesims2.com for more information on some of the new features that The Sims 2 includes. The only concern I have about The Sims 2 is that it was originally gonna be released March 31, then June 31, then August 31, and now September 14, which means that they are dealing with a bug that is in the game at this rate, if they keep pushing the release date back it might be another year until it is released. I would hope they would fix the errors in time for it to come out soon - and when it does come out that there are no bugs in it. Me and my best friend are Sims freaks-we both have all of the sims and we have been SO(...) excited about The Sims 2 coming out and we have been counting down the days since probaby October - we are sick of them putting off the release date for a year! Well - anyways if you were wondering why they kept putting off the release date now you know! I still cant wait for it to come out!!! IT IS GOING TO BE THE BEST!!!!!

Summary: Wow...I can't believe it!!
Review: I would've never expected a Sims 2. It's a brilliant idea that Maxis has come up with. It looks SO fun. I really only found out about it like a day ago but I've been researching it a lot. The screenshots look awesome (find them at TheSims2.com). I've seen a lot of other sims fans asking Maxis to make an expansion pack about growing up and living the stages of infant, toddler, kid, adult, and grandparent. This makes the game based on reality and really just tells you that you have a limited amount of time to achieve your goals and it teaches you about how you can ruin it. The sims are also more aware of their surroundings. If two sims are making love and another enters the room, they'll have a reaction. The new create a sim feature looks cool as well. We get to personalize our sims much more.
If you have the Sims Makin Magic expansion pack, there's a Sims 2 preview disk in the case. I suggest you watch it, it has a lot of info about the game.

Summary: THIS GAME ROCKS!
Review: Sims 2 is waaaaay better than The Sims. You can create your own neighborhood. Then you create a family. You can change everything about them, from eyebrow shape to weight, to outfit (self designed or pre made) to hair (color and style). Building houses is really cool too. You can choose the color of furniture, and there's just so much MORE! Everything is 3-D also. Sims also grow older, and die of old age. This is the best computer game I've ever played!

Summary: 5 stars inspite of...
Review: the freezing up. It is a really great game. Well, worth the price. The Sims was a really great game and this steps it up sooo much. There are so many more options and things to buy. The parties are cute and so are the aspirations, like to make woohoo with 3 people...and in public. It's not for every age, but for those of us who are old enough to "woohoo", I say go for it. I couldn't play it at first (I have Windows ME), then I found this website that said to right click on the the game, go to properties, go to the end of the target line, press the space bar then type -w and voila I was able to play. I was so excited and have been staying up to the next day playing it like I did with the first one. I highly recommend it if you can stand it freezing up on you from time to time. The requirements are not all that they are cracked up to be. I don't have the right video card but with that trick that I mentioned above I am still able to play. Be clear, I'm not saying that every computer is exempt, though. If you have an extra $50.00 have fun!!!

Review: The Sims 2 (TS2) is said to become the best pc game of all time. With all of it's new items and genres i believe it. Features:

.3D version unlike The Sims 1 which was in 2D
.New camera modes Lets you see everthing at 360 degrees of angle
.More and better social interactions
.You can now make houses 3 story with a walkable attic at the top
.You can now marry Non Playable Characters (NPC) including maid, gardener, firefighters, etc.
.They now have birthdays
.There are weekends from work and school
.Kids don't go to military school if they are bad
.They will keep their memories in a ''memory box'' Their memories include first kiss, first birthday etc. Well thats all I can remember now. One more not so good thing is your computer must run very good and it must be very new. No Windows 98 will work with TS2. Although The Sims 2 is rated T for Teen, it has no violence, guns or any other weapon. The reason it is rated T is, because they can ''Play'' in bed but you see nothing of it, and they do get naked when they bathe, but it has a blurry sign in front of it. So all of you adults who don't want their children to get this game until they are Teens it IS okay for them to play this game. Also it is educational in some ways, because it teaches the children how to save money and pay bills (yes Sims have bills) in order to buy better things in the future. Well anyway The Sims 2 is set to be a GREAT game. I hope you liked my review.
