Summary: Blizzard does it again.
Review: After the success of Warcraft II, blizzard chose to take it's next Real-Time Strategy (RTS) game into the realm of science fiction. Like all good science fiction the plot around which the different campaigns take place allow you to emerse yourself in the Starcraft Universe. The characters and events add imensely to the pleasure of playing the three campaigns. Also, each of the three races (Terran, Zerg, and Protoss) have very different units and tactics. Not just different graphics with essentially the same unit types but completly different limitations and strengths. For example, the Zerg are all biological and will come at you in hordes while the technologically superior Protoss will attack with fewer (albeit stronger) units. So, what is a winning strategy for one species will lead to utter failure with another. So, you will have to adapt your strategies to each species (both attacking with and defending against). Once you have mastered each of the three species against the computer's adroit AI, you have the next level of challenge, playing against other humans using Blizzard's battle.net servers. Beware however, playing against the computer will never completely prepare you for an war with an adaptable and intelligent player, so you will have to re-learn your tactics once more to survive in this and exicting realm of on-line gaming.

Summary: The Perfect Game
Review: I have played the entire game more than 3 times, and never get bored. Combine it with Brood War, and you can refine your strategies almost endlessly. The story line is engaging, there are a lot of varied units, the soundtrack is great, and the combat is fantastic. I've spent way too much time for my own good playing this, but it is without a doubt the best computer game ever.

Review: This game is one of the best games that I have ever played. If you like strategy games and you want to be challenged, this is the game to get. It may be expensive, but you get what you pay for. With three different species, Terran, Protoss, and Zerg, you get triple the amount of challenges that you expected. So, if you like strategy, science fiction, and tons of action and computer graphics, you'd better get Starcraft!

Review: They day I bought Starcraft I couldn't stop playing. The three races all offer great advantages and challenges. Unlike Warcraft the units arent equal. Plus the graphics are astounding. Way to go Blizzard! Great for young and old gamers, I am 12.

Review: Wow. 'Nuff said. Hands-down one of the best games of all time. If you've ever played Warcraft, you won't be very surprised, as the game-play is very similar. As a stand-alone, the game is enjoyable for hours upon end... But add the Brood Wars expansion, and you'll be hooked for life.

Review: I've had this game for two nights and Im already addicted to it. When I bought Warcraft 2, I thought that game was cool. The first time I Played Starcraft I loved it so much I would choose Starcraft over all the war crafts combined!

Review: Great storylines, wonderful cutscenes, and excellent dialogue combine to make one of the best 'build and conquer' games there is. Add the Brood War pack and you have got yourself one powerful (and *very* fun) gaming experience. A MUST for any serious gamer's game library!

Review: If you enjoy playing strategy games, like things that relate to action, outer space, the future, or aliens, you gotta get your hands on this. Starcraft lets you play as three different, powerful species that all have one goal: to rule the universe. This game also lets you use codes. I also enjoy the multiplayer mode. So remember, if you want to buy a good game for your PC, you gotta have Starcraft!

Review: Starcraft/Brood Wars is the ulimate real time strategy game. In my opinion it is the greatest game of all time. It is much better than Total Annihilation or Dark Reign. Give me a break, these two games cannot even begin to compare with Starcraft. Internet play via Battlenet is well supported. Get this game now!
