NetWare 5.1 also includes NDS eDirectory, which is a full-service, platform-independent directory that serves as the foundation for numerous e-business services. Because small businesses rarely employ a formal IT staff, several convenient administrative features make NSBS an attractive solution. Simplified setup and management tasks can be performed with the Novell Easy Administration Tool. In addition, ConsoleOne and ZENworks Starter Pack 2.0 provide advanced administrative options, whether you rely on a trained Novell reseller to manage your system or choose to do it yourself. A final benefit, NetWare 5.1 Management Portal enables you to perform server and file-system management tasks from any Web browser on your network.
