Summary: Wonderful beginning computer tool
Review: My son started using this game at 2 1/2 and we have found it to be a wonderful introduction to the computer. The games respond by simply moving the mouse (no clicking) and provides good simple directions of what to do. The instructions for parents are also very good, reminding parents to limit computer play time to small sessions and the importance of parental interaction. It has also proved to be a good confidence builder as he has mastered the mouse and can get through all the games on his own now.

Review: my sweetie will be 2 in 4 weeks. she loves "rabbit". begs for him!!! it took less than 3 sessions for her to "get" the mouse skills...now she is learning to click as well...

Summary: Worth the money!
Review: Of all the games we've bought, this one is by far the best. Rather than adapting known characters to a story or to a game, this one was obviously written specifically for this age group. Our 18-month-old and 3-year-old are crazy about it, and have been playing it for a few months now. It is written so intuitively that once, while I was in the shower, our three-year-old started it up and was playing games on her own. She was SO pleased with herself, and I was thrilled. She now has mouse control and can play this one whenever she feels like it. She is more interested in more difficult games now, too. This wasn't a goal, really, I just wanted a game that would be fun, and this one has more than filled the bill. The author really understands the kinds of games and songs that kids this age enjoy - bubbles, baby animals, facial expressions, short stories, coloring, songs that they recognize. It's just the right speed and tone. I can't say enough about this game.

Summary: Well received at appropriate age
Review: Reader Rabbit for Baby has been a favorite gift that we give to my son's friends as they turn 1 year old. It seems that the girls take a liking to the animation before my son did. He is 1.5 years now and is just starting to really enjoy watching the screen and hitting (literally) the keys. Recently he has started reaching for the mouse, but it will be awhile before the coordination is there.Overall, I'm glad that there is a software available for those under 3 years of age which creates awareness and helps with interaction.

Summary: The Best First Computer Program For Any Child
Review: This is an amazing product. My 2-year old took hold of the mouse for the first time 10 days ago and hasn't let go since. During that time he has mastered every game on the CD, requiring some rather complicated matching and sorting, as well as precision mouse movements that I didn't think he was capable of. Since the activities as well as the main menu are all "click-free," my son has been free to roam and explore at his own pace -- his Dad and I haven't lifted a finger to help him. As a result, he has grown increasingly more interested in the increasingly more complicated activities. (We have probably shot 1 hour of video of this boy using the program and screaming with delight as he discovers a new ability)! More amazing still, the strides he's made with these games have translated into a greater sense of confidence and "control over his environment" away from the computer as well. I would recommend this program to any parent!

Review: This is an excellent CD-ROM. It has a baby section and a toddler section - each are unique and each contain about 7-10 different activities. My 18-month old has been playing with this product almost daily for about 6 months now and continues to enjoy it. We have numerous other CD-ROMs for babies/toddlers and this is by far the best.

Review: This program had been wonderful. My 2 year old son has enjoyed
it since he was 18 months old, and now he can play most of the games on his own. There is so much to do- and as my son has grown, he has continued to get more and more out of it!

Summary: Good purchase
Review: We bought this for our 2 1/2 yr. old son to help introduce him to using the mouse and educational software. He had some familiarity having played a couple of computer games, but this definitely helped. He was glued to it for the first few days, but his interest waned as he began mastering some of the programs. He will still ask to "play" it a couple of times a week and he continues to learn. He especially enjoyed matching the shapes (Sky Shapes?) and caught onto it very quickly. The only drawback of that particular "game" is that the same things are repeated many times over, but that seemed to bother me more than him. Initially he had difficulty with the letter matching train, but now does it without any problem; therefore, I know he's learning from it. He also enjoys matching the baby animal with it's mom/dad and freeing the animal from the bubbles. I personally think the one "game" where you find the animal with the flashlight is limited. I find that he doesn't select that very often. He enjoys the coloring, but not as much as other selections. We feel that this software has done what we were hoping - helped our toddler become familiar with using the mouse, become familiar with educational software, and improve his letter/number identification and counting skills. And he has fun doing all of it.

Summary: Best mouse teaching software
Review: We tried this software at a friends house one afternoon (after I had declined to buy it several times at various local stores - it didn't look very interesting in the pictures on the box) and my 2 yr old son, who had been struggling with using the mouse at home - seemed to be having no trouble with this software! I snatched up a copy as quick as I could find it and he mastered the mouse movements in one day after that! Contrary to what I thought I would find from my perusal of the box, there were LOTS of fun games (I suggest starting with "Baby Basket Bingo") and you don't have to click the mouse, just hold it in place to get things to happen. That turns out to be a great way to learn how to position the mouse first, then add in the clicks later. A MUST buy for a toddler learning the mouse.
