Summary: No pooper-scooper needed.
Review: As an obssessed SiMS fan, I was not let down at all by this expansion. Besides providing the obvious option of adding pets to your SiM family, The SiMS UNLEASHED also adds new heads, clothes, furniture, and building options. In addition, an entire new town layout is included. Now, instead of one 10-lot neighborhood for residents only, the player may build in "Old Town" lots. These community lots give you the option of building (or destroying) shops, pet adoption agencies, cafes, parks, and pretty much any other public lot imaginable (if you use your creativity). To truly make the game cater to you, lots can be switched from community (public) lots to residential lots by simply clicking the re-zoning button.
The new building options include three styles of spiral staircases and many unique fences. New windows, doors, floors, and wallpapers are also beautiful and interesting.
One of my favorite aspects of the SiMS UNLEASHED were the many new clothing styles. The outfits included are finally stylish and some I even wish were real, so that I could wear them.
Many reviewers have complained that the game was slow. I have all of the expansions (except Vacation) that are avaliable for Macs (The SiMS, The SiMS Livin' Large, The SiMS House Party, and The SiMS Hot Date) installed on my computer and I did not find the slowness unbearable or frustrating.
The only problem that I've found in the game is the pet bath basin. It simply does not work. However, the pets function fine a little dirty and at least it's true to life (stinky dogs)!
Overall, I believe this expansion is the best so far (although I am waiting on The SiMS Superstar). Why do us Mac users always have to wait? Anyway, if you are going to buy any expansion for you SiMS, I would strongly reccommend The SiMS UNLEASHED!

Summary: Almost too much to do!
Review: Even though my mac is slightly below systems requirements I got Sims Unleashed loaded and running. I upped my virtual memory, but I am not sure how much good that did. ... There are added features including stores, pets and some new items. The problem is as most Syms players, with more than one family are aware, that it is difficult to keep all their needs met. With the chance to add a pet, who must me trained and feed and cleaned up after, skunks roaming around the yard that must have animal control capture them, racoons dupping the trash, not to mention going to the stores you can easily get over whelmed. The biggest problem I found was that all household members had to be at home before the "cab" would pick them up to go. The good new is if you want to cheat the word is still ROSEBUD.

Review: First off, this has got to be the most unique Sims expansion pack yet! I think the pets are a wonderful addition compared to the pets you could buy previously (the deadly guinea pig that came with Livin' Large, and of course the fish aquarium).Now, while the pets are nice, there are a few things that I am not happy with about the game. One thing that drives me absolutely insane, especially if I'm trying to play a game without using the cheats, is that with all these new pets, there are strays. Yes, stray pets, the pittiful little pains that wander around non-stop through your neighborhood, peeing and pooping on this lot and that. It is very frusterating to have my single sims come home from work and having them spend an hour just to clean up the little puddles on the very outskirts of the lot, just so their room score won't drop dramatically in the morning. Also, if you don't "shoo" these strays from your lot, they always litter your sims actions with such a thing like "beg" and "pet" whenever you step outside. Another thing that is quite annoying are the garden pests, if you plant a garden, rabbits and mice are unavoidable, and the only way to get rid of them is to have a cat or dog (and more times than not, you need both). Of course, even if you have a cat or dog, most of the time they're just too lazy to go out to the garden and get rid of the pests. While I think the idea is terrific, and I absolutely love some of the new items, I just think Maxis went a little too far on the realism of the game, thus I only give the game four stars. Don't get me wrong though, I still think this is a wonderful, and well put together game, that is a lot of fun. Even with a few complaints, I think that it is definitely a game you should buy, after all, these are only problems to me, not necessarily everyone else.

Review: I have the Sims and the Sims Vacation and I was sooooo excited to get the Sims Unleashed!!! I installed it, played it, and quit. The next day I tried to play it, but it wouldn't work. I had to install everything 5 times!!! I think it put a bug into my computer or something because every time I quit a Sims game, I have to reinstall it to play it. AAAAAAAAH!!!!

Review: I love the sims. I think it's a fantastic game, highly entertaining. I have greatly enjoyed the first few expansion packs, but with Hot Date and Vacation, my computer began to slow. (I have a second generation iMac with a GB of RAM) With Unleashed, it became oppressive, skipping and missing huge chunks of action. Hopefully with my new dual processor G5, this problem will resolve, but you shouldnt have to buy a $5000 computer to run a computer game. (yes, I'm buying the G5 for other reasons.....) The idea of the game is great, and the pets are fun. This is the largest expansion pack so far, with tons of new characters and items. Just make sure you have the computer power to handle the program.

Review: I love this game every time i get a chance I get on the computer and play it but it has two bad parts about it 1)you have to wait until every memeber of the house gets back from either work or school and 2) you can't control the pets at all but u can get them to move. I would of gave this game a 4.2 but that doesn't exist on Amazon so I gave it a 5

Review: I was super excited when the release date was finally announced for the Mac version of this game. The concept is awesome and the feat was large, but a speedy arrival by no means is better than a flawless game. Unleashed is in deseperate need of patching. Some things not mentioned in many of the other reviews is that this expansion pack slows down the game quite a bit. There are skips and jumps in the activity, especially on community lots. Pets cause the slow down and skipping also to happen at home on the origingal lots. So I would reccomend only bringing pets home to the new lots. I agree with the mentions of strays, and yard cleanup from pets that aren't you own. I don't want you to get the wrong idea, this game is fun if you can put up with some slowing and annoyances. I however have stopped playing until a patch is released because my patience has run short.
