Summary: I've gotten alot of use out of this product
Review: I do graphic design almost daily in my job and have found this package very useful. While the vector images are in .wmf format, I am able to take them into Adobe Illustrator and make them any size and color and resave in any format (without distortion from stretching). However, if you are using them in something simple as Word and have no idea what the term "vector" means, you are not able to stretch the images without distortion. So if you are "the average joe", this may not be the package for you unless you plan to use the images "as is". However, I have a few other packages and they are all the same way.

As far as the photos, I've never used them once. They are low quality (72 dpi) and are small images. This was disappointing. I find the navigation in the book easy to use, though sometimes I do have trouble locating a certain type of image if I'm not sure what category they may have stuck it under. There is no index in the book, which really would be nice.

There are sound effects, which I have used before...and music and videos which are good for PowerPoint presentations. But the selection is limited. There are also some animated gifs too, which are good for presentations and web.

Overall I rated this 4 stars because I was disappointed in the photo quality. Otherwise I would have rated it 5

Summary: MasterClips 303,000
Review: On the plus side, this collection includes a wide variety of images for many occasions. Most images are good quality and easy to import into many different Window graphic software programs. The catalog is printed in color and the images are, for the most part clear and easily recognizable.

On the negative side, the catalog has drawbacks. Like many designers, I prefer to use the hard copy catalog instead of the catalog on the disk. 1. Many items are categorized inappropriately making it difficult to find more obscure/unique images. 2. Some of the images are so dark that is difficult or impossible to determine the subject matter unless you import them. 3.There are some images that are so small that it is difficult to determine what they are without a magnifying glass. 4. Sometimes the catalog image colors differ significantly from the actual image colors. 5. It would be very helpful to have an index (like at least some of the Art Explosion collections) to assist in locating needed images.

Bottom Line: The collection includes a wide variety of nice images - but it is difficult to use.
