Summary: A Fantastic CD!
Review: What was it that made the original Marvel Universe so great? So many things... The collection of issues listed on this CD here(Fantastic Four #1-10 from 1961) are definitely must-haves for any Marvel fan and they are definitely one of the reasons why Marvel Comics was on top of its game for so many decades. You get 10 issues from the superb 1960's Marvel Universe on this CD (and some really terrible character bio-pages made in the equally terrible style of today's Marvel, this however can be overlooked. - Don't get me wrong because today's Marvel still has a few gems left but I must emphasise on the word "FEW"). Each issue on this CD is done in an eye pleasing "PDF" style which means you can zoom into the images without any real distortion. There's even an option for you to print out entire issues on your home printer in colour or in a special "Black And White Outline" mode! If you haven't been able to get your hands on these 10 issues in the past and you're a comic fan, then this series of Digital Marvel Comic CD's are MUST HAVES.

What could have made this CD pack even better would be the inclusion of some of the later and really important issues as bonuses. A few issues that ranged through the late 1960's to the late 1990's where the original Marvel Universe ultimately met its demise. Some ideas would be: the first appearance of Galactus and the Silver Surfer, The first Thing/Hulk battle, Thing leaving/She-Hulk joining the team, The destruction of the Baxter Building, The Borth Of Franklin Richards, The Later Team Roster Changes-Ms Marvel/She-Thing, Reed Richards' apparent/faked death and The Thing's battle with Wolverine that left his face with a severe scar... These storylines could have made some great bonus issues or they could even make a great follow-up CD. That aside, this Digital Marvel Comic CD is worth every dollar!
