Summary: Not helpful
Review: After you take the time to enter in all of your information you will wish that you didn't bother! The invitation list is not forgiving to change and the information can not be sorted to show up to best suit what you need. I do not recomend this software to anyone. . .unless you want your headache even bigger!

Summary: Emily Post Wedding Software could be better
Review: I was happy to find this wedding software since I am helping my sister plan her wedding. I brought it because of the Post name and because I couldn't find one from Martha Stewart. It is very helpful in that it gives the basics for planning a wedding, inviting guests, reception, showers, etc. However there are several glitches which prevent the software from being 5 stars in my opinion (n.b. it does have a manual which you can print out and answers some questions). I was a little disappointed with the guest list program which has a few bugs. One very annoying bug is that it tends to lose the names when you go into "guest view" and then when you go back into the original entry the names are all there. Also if you do not hit "enter" after typing some names and just "tab" to the next field, you will lose your entry after you save the guest information. You should realize that although it allows you to print out your guests' addresses, it doesn't allow you to format it for labels. Another annoying aspect about the program is that once you are using the software, it doesn't allow you to switch to another program or window. The reason that this was a handicap for me was that I couldn't switch from my electronic addressbook to cut & paste my guest information into Emily Post. I ended up printing out the electronic addressbook and then typing it into the Post guest list database.

It is a good beginner software (I am assuming that this is the first one from Post), but hopefully they will find someone who will make it more user friendly and compatible with other software (i.e., avery labels, access, etc.).

Summary: Software won't even install
Review: Make sure you are running Win 95/98, as the software won't even install on Win2000. It starts up, but then complains that you haven't accepted the license agreement, which it hasn't presented, and then presents a series of message boxes which can only lead to abandoning the installation.

Basically, this product is unusable on Win2K.

Summary: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY!!!
Review: Repeat: DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY. This CD-ROM has caused me much anger and frustration. You are better off without even dealing with this software. It is in desperate need of an update and is difficult to work with. STAY AWAY!
