Description:
Make any character walk based on the position of its body. Imagine creating the walk cycle for one step and then having the character speed up and slow down automatically by simply animating the body position. This can be used for characters with any number of legs. Slithering snakes, ribbons, streamers, and monorails can be created quickly by animating the rigid object and letting Serpent do all the work. To create a hand that drags itself across the ground, create the motion for one finger with inverse kinematics (IK). Then use Follower on the remaining four IK goals so that they follow the original motion with varying time delay. This will allow each finger to reach and pull itself forward in a series or randomly. Animate multiple objects by creating keys for only one. You can create an accurate diving board by oscillating the motion of an effector object set to bend the diving board. The motion can use damping so that the board bends severely at the beginning of the animation and slows down naturally to fall back to its rest position. No key frames are used. Also, load a cow, move her above the ground plane, and apply gravity. The plug-in will automatically pull the object toward the ground plane and create the appropriate bounce reaction. Values are set up for natural reactions but can be modified to vary the effect. Once you see the cow bouncing, try adding LazyPoints for automatic squash and stretch.
