Summary: Excellent program for the price
Review: I had used Photoshop for several years when I bought Paint Shop Pro. Maybe I should say "spoiled" by Photoshop because I might as well say right away that this product does not beat Photoshop. You can do more of almost everything with Photoshop, and Photoshop is even marginally easier to use. ...My old employer bought Photoshop for me; Paint Shop Pro I had to buy on my own.Paint Shop Pro provides at least 90% of what Photoshop does for 1/10 the price. Some of the other reviews mention that Paint Shop Pro is hard to use. I will agree that Photoshop is slightly easier to use, even if you have never used Photoshop before. But from what I can tell, most of the "hard to use" reviews are from people who have just barely mastered Microsoft Paint. That is not the proper comparison to make - Microsoft Paint has about 10% of the capability of Paint Shop Pro. You can't expect a Ferrari to drive as easily as a Chevy Cavalier. And, for its power, Paint Shop Pro is pretty easy to use. A few things could have been done better; for example, it's hard to create a selection to a specific pixel size. On the other hand, the integrated raster/vector graphics is done quite well, and after a bit of practice I don't find myself hardly missing the fixed size selection areas at all. Plus, it has a nice exporting capability, making it very easy (even easier than Photoshop) to create JPEG or GIF web graphics. The best feature, however, is its power-to-price ratio. 90% of Photoshop's power for 10% of its price is a pretty awesome accomplishment. If you have to pay for it yourself, go for it.

Summary: Not bad.. but missing something...
Review: I've had this new product sitting on my desk, waiting for my new computer to show up. Finally, the day arrived, and I couldn't wait to load it up to see all the wonderful things I had read about. They are true.. this software has tons of easy and wonderful tools to fix up images. But, it's missing one very important tool, atleast to me. It doesn't have a lasso tool for selecting. I am referring to the tool that you can use to crop right around the main image you photographed in order for the background to be cut out. So, basically, you can only crop using a square, rectangle or circle shape, and that's not always convenient as most items we are editing need the background cut out. I was so very disappointed to not see this one, simple feature. I now have to buy a different graphics program to go along with this one.

Review: I highly enjoy this program. It's great for making banners and buttons, or just playing around with your digital pictures. I believe that this program is all-around great(especially animation shop 3).

Review: I was shocked at how easy this was to learn. The instruction manual is as thick as a phone book, but don't let it intimidate you. Put it to the side and just play with the program. Well worth the money.

Summary: AFTER 1 YEAR IT STILL SURPRISES ME
Review: I purchased this software a year ago. Find it very easy to use. I probably ask more of it than the average person would,and it delivers. I used it on 20 old B&W family photos taken back in the 30's and 40's. Was able to scan, repair, and print some wonderful enlargements. On one of the snap shots of my older brother and sister taken in 1943. After enlarging you could clearly read the date on the license plate on the car behind them. Was even able to repair what looked like a coffee stain on one of the photos of my mother with the cloning tool. When you email tech support with a question they get back to you. No matter how many questions you ask they respond until your satisfied. No it is not as powerful as Adobe Photo Shop. But it's not $... either. I have been able to do everything so far that I have wanted to do with this software. I would say I'm a serious photo junkie. And shoot 35mm as well as digital photos weekly. I can't wait to try their new Photo Album 4. I purchased the boxed version of Paint Shop Pro because I like having a manual to read away from computer when learning new tricks that I would not have thought of myself. Their web site is also great for picking up great ideas from other users.

Summary: A very good graphics programme!
Review: One of the best graphics programmes around, It has many functions. Great for making Web Graphics and it has many different plugins you can add, It is very user friendly unlike Photo Impact. It a very respected programmes around and there are loads of sites you can visit which have tutorials you can follow, It also comes with Animation Shop which you can make animations however this takes a bit longer to get to grips with it. Jasc are currently in the process of making PSP 8 but by the reviews i have already seen it isnt that special. PSP 7 is a great programme and that is why i rate it 5 stars.

Summary: EXCELLENT STABILITY; EXCELLENT VALUE.
Review: By any means, "Jasc Paint Shop Pro 7.0" is a nice imaging tool. This continuity software showcased those genes, which enabled its earlier versions win numerous awards. Apart from being easy-to-deploy and use, it has excellent stability. Its enhanced features ensured that it is highly productive. Web-designers would appreciate the inclusion of JavaScript rollovers, and several other web-imaging tools in this '7.0 Pro' version.
However, versatile image-editors should note that this 'Paint Shop' does not have the advanced premium features, which are evident in both 'Adobe Photoshop' and 'Corel Photo-Paint' programs. Still, its value-for-money did exceed those of 'Photoshop' and 'Photo-Paint'.

Review: This is an amazing product!! I used to use PSP 6.0, but it messed up due to my own errors. :( So now i bought 7.0 and its amazing. I use it for my Anime Website..[url]. I highly recommend this product to anyone that knows how to make graphics.

Review: This is perhaps the best PC graphics editing tool. It is versatile, but that is not what will grab your interest. The ease of use blows away the competition. The processing algorithms are written better than those of Photoshop and Corel. It does the work faster and more efficiently. Text editing is a breeze, and text on graphics is easier to handle than on Photoshop...and the price of this product is another reason this is set apart from the others. Jasc has packed so much product into such a small prices. Great work. Great tool. If you are one who dabbles in graphics, and hasn't the time or money to spend looking at the other bigger graphics platforms, than this is the best for you
