Summary: Recommend 'Starry Night Pro' over all other versions
Review: This program is not just for beginner to serious amateur astronomer. On the contrary, anyone with a computer has desktop access to and detailed information on all that goes on in the sky. The Pro edition is a bargain and has all the features you will want. Don't buy the lesser editions. A new edition coming later this year is relatively pricey. If you want a realistic sky planetarium or information about anything up there at anytime past present or future, get this program. It is absolutely beautiful to view especially if you take the time to set it up with the sky aesthetic that suites you.

Summary: Out of the Blue - Into the Black
Review: Wether it be day or night you can locate whatever heavenly delight that you might be looking for. There are a lot of bells and whistles with this program that you may or may not use but it is always best to be over-armed then out-gunned. You will really need to read the manual for this one and it is best to use the guide that comes with it to learn your way around. But once you're familiar with pull down menus you can go out at night and "learn the sky". I have used it numerous times while using only binoculars to find certain stars and satelites that I see go cruising across the sky. All - in -all a good buy for the money if you're a novice/beginner astronomer.
