Review: My 9 yr old son received the Matchbox CD & controller for Xmas and after reading the reviews I had my doubts. However this is a great game for the $$. I do believe that it may after time get a little repetative but overall he's having fun with it and that's all that counts..

Summary: 2 disappointed boys on Christmas morning
Review: My boys have always been excited by anything dealing with construction, so I thought this gift would be a sure winner. After some problems with the software - and a trip back to the store for an exchange, we thought we were finally in for a treat. The excitement portrayed on the TV commercials was no where near what we experienced with this program. Our keyboard kept freezing when we used the controls and we found they were difficult to use. Using the mouse was not as realistic, but less frustrating. I guess if someone wants the real life boredom of digging a hole, this program is what you want. It is not the kind of game that is going to keep your child's attention. My boys haven't touched it since 2 days after Christmas.

Review: My four year old loves this game and so do I. You will wan't to purchase a windows keyboard to keep the controller off of the more expensive multi media keyboards.

Review: Obviously I should have looked at these reviews beforepurchasing. This product was nothing but headaches! I reallyexpected this controller and software to be a lot of fun for the kids - it was the furthest from it. Don't assume that if you've got a fast machine and 32 bit high end graphics card it will help. Graphics were jittery, mising and/or poorly controlled in high graphics and in low mode everything worked but looked bad. TAKE A LESSON FROM ME -- NEVER, EVER LET YOUR KIDS KNOW ABOUT THIS OR ANY SOFTWARE UNTIL YOU'VE TRIED IT OUT FIRST -- I don't want to put them through the agony of watching their father (with Master of Science in Comp Sci) pull his hair out again due to a poor implementation of a cool looking concept. I will definately think twice and even then keep my sales receipt handly befor buying again from Mattel Media.

Summary: Disappointed!
Review: The entire family was disappointed in this program Christmas morning. The quality left much to be desired. It caused the computer to lock, the sound would stop occasionally when changing to different construction sights, all of the screen didn't fill out sometimes, and when we tried to uninstall it to try again, the program would not allow us to uninstall it. Also, we were not very impressed with the 3-D. It was a real LEMON!

Review: This software program and controller are not worth the money. The controller has to strap on the key board and does not work. The graphics are poor at best. Don't buy.

Review: Two boys (8 & 6) and a girl (5) love this computer game! If I let them, they'd spend hours digging in cyber dirt!
