Rating: Summary: Tonka Dig N Rigs Review: This is a great product! My 4 1/2 yr old boy started playing with it when he turned 3 and we're getting a lot of use out of it still! There's many different games/areas he can easily access to keep his attention span; and his friends like to take turns when they come over. I would recommend a larger computer screen (if you have a 17 or 19") to get the full effects. It's a lot of fun for any child that likes to "drive".
Rating: Summary: Tons of Fun Review: We bought Digs N Rigs last Christmas for our then-3-1/2 year old son. A year later it is still a top favorite. The activities are definitely of interest to a boy--feeding zoo animals, digging for dinosaur bones, building (and knocking down) buildings, loading up ships. Each time you pick a different piece of heavy equipment and location, the game is new--very well designed. The steering panel is a cinch to strap on each time. We highly recommend this game.
Rating: Summary: Fantastic Review: I can't say enough good things about this product. I recommend it to everyone I know with young boys. Don't get me wrong I'm sure girls would love it too (I do!) but this is everything a little boy dreams of. It's like being in an arcade with all the options and sounds yet it's also easy enough for my 3 year old to follow along. You cannot go wrong with this purchase!
Rating: Summary: Hours of entertainment Review: My three year old son loves this. He operates it all on his own with no problem. This offers many different activities so that they never tire of it. You have to have it!
Rating: Summary: GREAT Review: I bought this for my son (4 years old) last year for Christmas. I can tell you he loves it. My daughter is three and really enjoys it also. We have 23 kids on our block alone. So we have children over all the time. They always want to play Tonka's Dig'n Rigs when they come over. We have to have a timer so everyone gets a turn.
Rating: Summary: Winner, Hands Down! Review: A sophisticated, yet simple, software allowing a child to make decisions and be successful at a variety of tasks. To add to that, the side games of smashing, splashing, and just plan making messes appeal to any kid! But, by far, the winner is the driving console that makes a child feel he is really in control. There is nothing better for preschoolers than "hands-on" action! If he were allowed, my three year old can play this for hours. That is a testament to the product! How many three year olds will sit still for more than ten minutes? We are waiting for Tonka's next endeavor. My son is hoping for a similar product for the space center. So come on Tonka Joe, your "little buddy" is waiting, get going!
Rating: Summary: JUST AMAZING! Review: After reading all the outstanding reviews this product received, we just had to give it a try! IT IS EXTRAORDINARY! I was a little concerned that our son was a bit young (Just 2 years old), but figured we could enjoy it with him until he was old enough! We bought it for his second birthday and in one month he has mastered about 1/2 of the activities! He is matching colors, working his fine motor skills and logic, all while having a blast! A MUST FOR EVERY LITTLE BOY!
Rating: Summary: Dig N Rigs Review: Both of my children love this program.
Rating: Summary: Best ever! Review: I bought this for my 3 yr old nephew at Christmas. He loves it. At first all he got to do was watch as Dad and Grandpa "checked it out", but now that the adults have mastered all of the tasks, he gets to play on his own. Grandma even learned a few basic computer skills from having to start the game for my nephew. It is really a great educational and entertaining program.
Rating: Summary: THE toy for young ones! Review: My son (3 1/2) received this for Christmas and the control board has barely left his hands since. The program was easy for him to understand, helped teach him left from right, hand-eye coordination and most important that he needs to listen to and follow Tonka Joe's instructions. I can set him at the computer and it keeps him entertained (probably for hours if I let him!). An added bonus is that the control board goes with us just about everywhere. He "drives" with mommie in the car. If you have the 3 point harness car seat with the tray you can just strap it on and go! The unit has stood up to the normal 3 year-old abuse and has barely a scratch.
