Primary Learning provides parents with 15 learning activities geared towards kids, ages 6 to 14. Each program is designed to augment children's skills in spelling, math, geography, and more. Kids can test their spelling abilities in a hangman-type spelling game with two levels for up to four players. The Higher Math program offers tutoring and practice in multiplication and simple division, while Math Race is a beat-the-clock arithmetic game, also for up to four players.

A comprehensive bundle of programs, Primary Learning 5.0 also surveys U.S. presidential history, world geography, and even instructs kids in using the keyboard as well as a calendar. Additional education-based games have children running a lemonade stand, managing a pizza parlor, holding a candy drive, solving a crime, and much more.
