During the adventure, you'll battle guards, bandits, and other evil henchman while utilizing a varied selection of melee and bow weaponry. Crafty level design ensures plenty of familiar lever, floor panel, and rope-swinging puzzles. (Watch out for those spike traps!) Maneuvering the Prince within the new 3-D environment is perhaps the only minor gripe; lining up jumps and navigating tunnels with the sometimes too-fast Prince can become a tricky endeavor. Boasting startling 3-D graphics, dazzling levels, and familiar, easy-to-learn gameplay, Prince of Persia 3D should both delight old fans and collect many new ones. --Doug Radcliffe
