Rating: Summary: Waste of time and money. Review: Does not work on Windows 2000 or XP although their website says it works on 2000. Their support is TERRIBLE only offering a simple "we're sorry". I wish I had seen these reviews . . . Don't waste your money on any of Encore's stuff - it's junk. Buy the Jump Start Series instead. Doesn't Encore know that Windows 98 is like 6 years old??? And they still sell this product???

Rating: Summary: No Sound Under Windows XP and No Fix Review: Encore claims that the software was written prior to Windows XP yet the software was released as a new title well after Windows XP was available. If you visit the company website they only apologize but do not offer a fix.
Rating: Summary: Great Activities, Poor Usability Review: I love the activities, but the poor usability makes it agonizing to play. Transitions, humor sequences, explanations, etc. are all very long (30-60 seconds), and you can't click through them. You don't even get a cursor until the sequence is done, and you can't Esc to exit the game. A minute is a very long time to go between clicks!
Rating: Summary: Great for Advanced Toddler Review: I'm a software developer, my wife is a teacher, and my son is a 2-year-old. We all love this game. 1. Programmer's perspective: this is more stable and responsive on Windows than many of the other programs we have (avoid the Disney ones from my experience). 2. Teacher's perspective: very well designed for educational purposes. 3. Kid's perspective: it's a lot of fun and very appealing. I think "toddler" rather than "preschool" would be a more accurate title. I don't think he'll still be playing this one when he's 4.
Rating: Summary: not for xp Review: IF YOU HAVE XP FORGET IT! MY 3 YR OLD WAS QUITE UPSET WHEN IT DIDN'T WORK. THEY SHOULD HAVE IT STATED IT DIDN'T WORK FOR XP
Rating: Summary: Yeah, no sound for me too Review: The software is pretty much useless if you got XP at home. Since there is no sound nor manual, the only way your kid learns how to play is from the speech.
Rating: Summary: Lots of fun! Good skill development Review: While this is not my favorite Sesame Street software, it does offer some new skills such as sentance structure, careers and math sorting. The movie clips are great fun and the program runs really well. My 2 year old can watch it forever and the 4 year old gets a little bored with it. It covers a lot of areas shapes, letters, numbers, phonics, colors plus an art program. It is definately worth the money.
