This educational software program offers 10 different spelling games for kids in kindergarten through sixth grades. With Spelling Games 5.0, kids can test their spelling skills using the software's own lists, built from a database of 1,400 words, or input their own word lists. Each spelling list consists of up to 30 words and can be saved or printed for future use. The program's spelling list editor makes word entry easy, while its file manager keeps track of saved lists.

Spelling Games' built-in tools help kids improve their spelling skills and manage their own learning. The list review tool walks kids through their lists, spelling out each word. The typewriter tool further develops keyboarding skills. Kids can also develop spelling skills in a range of educational activities, including Spelling Bee, where words are displayed as the child audibly spells out the word. In Scrambled Word, letters are mixed up and kids must sort out the correct spelling. Other activities include Magic Hat, Word Worm, Alien Return, and more.
