Rating: Summary: Best Computer game ever!!!!!!!!!! Review: Barbie Detective Carnival Caper, was the first computer game i ever had and i have to say it's better than any computer games in the world!
Rating: Summary: Non-stop Fun Review: Barbie Detective is one of the most fun Barbie cd rom games as it has so much to see,do and find. You can even interview suspects and play carnival games inbetween your search for poor Ken(who is locked away someplace)and the kidnapper who did it.Let me say that it is a perfect game for anyone with only 90 MHZ of play space on their computer-like me!!Its a good game!,but Barbie DOES get on your nerves as she walks into walls and repeats herself alot and says;"Oh i havent been in this room before,"a thousand times over, even though its the same room each time.Generally she acts very blonde so try to keep the swearing down to a minimum.Me and my mum have a little trouble with that.tata.
Rating: Summary: BARBIE RIDING CLUB Review: Gave my child a chance to journey outside her own world before being able to read. This software encourages independance and problems solving experience.
Rating: Summary: Loving this cd rom Review: I don't have this cd,but I had the second one,and I know this one has to be good.I love the barbie mystery games.I think every other kid that likes mystery games will enjoy this game.
Rating: Summary: Cool! Review: I don't have this game but my cousin does, she has sooo many babie comp games but this one was one of the best. Coming from a 13 year old who isn't really into barbies, this was a cool game. It gets exciting when you find clues leading you to different clues..but it really gets exciting when you see the shadow figure! In the game you can do alot of things... also it is cool when barbie uses your name when she askes you something. All in all this was a good game!
Rating: Summary: Great fun for my 5-year-old! Review: I don't understand the Children's Software Revue at all. My 5-year-old loves this game. And we had no problems finding the clues. My daughter loved chasing the suspect, especially on the giant slide. We thought this game was better than Vacation Mystery, but we like both. I'm just sorry there aren't anymore games in this series yet. I do admit, however, that Barbie is hard to manipulate.
Rating: Summary: Detective Barbie at the Carnival Review: I found this game a bit too hard or a glitch in there. After looking for Ken and the clues seemed futile, my daughter and I really enjoyed the rides. We quit worrying about find Ken and figured he left the park, so we went on the rides. It is fun, but a few minutes of rides and we were ready to leave the park.
Rating: Summary: This only runs on Win 95 Review: I had high hopes for this Barbie CD-ROM. Unfortunately, it only has drivers for Win-95. It does not support Win 98, NT, ME or 2000 (and I assume XP). My seven year old daughter cried her eyes out because the software would not run on our Win 2k machine. When you go to the Mattel website, they claim it is not cost effective for them to write drivers for the newer operating systems. (seems cost effective for most other companies) If you are running anything newer than Win 95 and don't want your daughter to cry her eyes out, don't buy this game.
Rating: Summary: The best game ever! Review: I'm seven years old and I love this game. If you find one clue, it usually leads to the next. There are six other people that could be the shadowy figure, and you don't know until you catch him or her and bring him or her back to Becky, Barbie's helper. The game changes every time so you're not always solving the same mystery, but sometimes there might be some of the same clues. I love this game because it has rides that you can sometimes go on when you are playing the game. I also like figuring out what the clues mean, but some clues are hard. If you need help you go to the crime computer. It tells you who you've talked to, and what your clues are, and what your tools are. When you find a clue, you go to the crime computer. You click on the clue and Barbie says something about it. Then, Becky comes on the screen and tells what she thinks about it. They might sometimes say the same thing. All I can say is I LOVE DETECTIVE BARBIE! My four year old brother even likes it too. He likes to watch me play it, and he sometimes helps me with clues. I would recommend it for 5 and up.
Rating: Summary: Fun, Spooky but boring Review: It was spooky and Fun. I liked the name list because it ALMOST had ever name. It had my name so I guess it did. But after a while it got boring. And it wasn't so challenging. It was made not for ages 5 and up it's jsut for ages 5 and 6.
