Summary: Arcade action all over again!
Review: Finally, a NEW arcade style game! I bought this for my 4 year old son and he gets Yellow M&M to where he needs to go and this software reinforces his learning of numbers due to the math only levels! HINT: A game pad is the ticket to making the many jumps necessary in this game, but the arrow keys work just fine to zoom to and around the factory!

Summary: Excellent, Creative Game ****************
Review: I bought this for my son's 4th birthday because he loves the M&M's characters. This is such a cool imaginative game. The graphics are excellent, it's challenging without being too tough, and the music is nicely put together with the different levels. Very entertaining. My son is now 4 1/2 and he has taught me a few things about the game that I even missed. The math levels are also a great thing to get kids to learn without knowing they are. Also, it's very refreshing from some other games that are too violent or serious that are marketed to children.

Summary: THE BEST GAME EVER!!
Review: I do not have a copy of this game for myself, but I have played it a lot before. It has great graphics. It's also an awesome game. Explore the M&M's Factory with Yellow as you try to catch all the mini M&M's you can. Run on conveyor belts, hop on crates, dodge evil robots and machines and try your best to beat all eight exiting and fun-filled levels of the game!!!

Summary: Great Game !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Review: I give it 1 star due to the performance of Simon and Shuster's technical support group. We never got the game installed and configured correctly. We had trouble getting the game installed on Win ME (see the other review) so we reformatted the computer and reinstalled Win98 but still had no luck. We met the game requirements and had typical hardware (nvidia video, sound blaster sound) on a Gateway desktop. We "worked" with the maker's tech support group and never got the problem resolved in over a month. The support was terrible. You can't get through on the phone (a long distance call), the fax number in the game pamphlet is wrong and it took them a week or 10 days to respond via email. There's nothing meaningful in their on-line support areas and there's not contact info either. You're left with one of the 3 options above. Actually support was ok at the initial level (courteous and quick) but once it was "elevated" for resolution the problems started it. Our problem was probably either a hardware issue but they couldn't figure it out (or never really tried?). Too bad though. My son plays the game at school and really liked it. The demo game ran on the same computer so I guess he'll continue to use it at school or play the demo. I'll think twice about their other software after this experience.

Summary: AWESOME GAME!
Review: I just got back from a holiday party and played this with my cousin. THis game is awesome not just because it promotes math in a fun matter, but it gives a fun adventure for kids to work with. The adventure includes the world famous m&m's (and minis) You should definitely buy this for kids 4-13. I am even hooked!!!! This is a blast of fun.

Summary: DO NOT PURCHASE if you have WIN 2000
Review: I love this game! It's worked wonders for my daughter in speeding up basic math facts. Reccomended for Grade 2+
It IS fast, work with flash cards with your child or else they will be discouraged in not playing this game with the math. Make sure your Graphics/Video Card is UPDATED with drivers, max-out on your memory too really helped.
This game works great on Windows 98 - it does require some tweaking - PLEASE read the Read Me file for solving them.
Now the downside - my husband had to upgrade our system to Win 2000 for his software, and Simon & Schuster does not have any patches for this game.
I emailed them and this was their reply:
Thank you for contacting Simon and Schuster Interactive Technical Support

Unfortunately, this program is not supported on NT or Windows 2000 which is an NT platform. Because of the driver structure of NT, very few programs that use video compression programs such as this one are even rated on NT. I think you would find that the problems would be solved if you installed the program on a 95/98/ME system.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to e-mail us or call the technical support number listed in the documents that came with our product.

Sincerely,
D. L. Monson

Summary: Too difficult
Review: My four-and-a-half year old is very computer savy and can play most games age graded for 5-7 by himself. This game is so difficult that he not only needs help from Mom and Dad, but Mom and Dad can barely get through the beginning games. The graphics are great and the themeing very fun (only making my son want to play more), but I would only recommend this game for a child of at least 8 with a lot of acarde experience
