Summary: MEMORY
Review: I had a lot of fun building the castle, but when I went inside I kept running out of memory and it would crash. I assigned it more than enough to run according to the system requirements, but it still quits. Maybe I am the only one with this problem, but if you want to play this game, I would suggest having enough memory to hold the Library of Congress. I leave you with this final thought: SAVE OFTEN!

Summary: Problems with Notre Dame Cathedral
Review: I had problems with this game. I chose the beginners' level and put together most of the puzzle only to find some sections missing. I sent Wrebbit an email and got a reply that maybe the missing pieces were under a window on the table. I checked and replied that the pieces were not on the table. It has been two weeks and I have not heard more from Wrebbit.

Also, I found the use of the display to be very poor. I have an XGA screen, which I think is now pretty standard. The program used only a VGA (640 X 480) window in the middle of the screen. To compensate for the lack of screen real estate they have a complicated system of procedures to scroll the small window over the tabletop. It would be much better if they used all of the real estate on the XGA screen and simplified the complicated procedures.

Summary: If You Love Jigsaw Puzzles...
Review: I have always loved jigsaw puzzles. But this is the first time I have ever put one together on a computer. Puzz 3D Orient Express has 4 difficulty levels, from easy to super-challenging. I started off on the third level which is the challenging level. That level is just as challenging as the 1000-peice puzzles you buy in the store. The only difference is this: once you put the puzzle together, the fun doesn't stop. The difficulty level you choose determines how much of the Orient Express you can explore. You get to meet all kinds of different people as well as learn about the history of the train. Plus, during the exploration phase, there are other games along the way as well as clues to a mystery guest who is supposed to board the train. I haven't finished the exploration portion yet, but I am already thinking about going back to rebuild the train at the super-challenging level. This way, I will have unlimited access to the entire train. This Puzzle is very addictive and fun.

Summary: My Favorite Computer Game
Review: I have not been able to travel to Germany yet, but on my first visit I want to see the Neuschwanstein Castle. This video game was a dream come true. It is a challenging puzzle, but once you have finished the most difficult level, you can continue to enjoy again and again the beautiful vistas inside and outside the castle. I put it in often, the game is like bringing an art museum inside your home.

Summary: Great puzzle fun
Review: I just finished the puzzle, and the exploration inside Notre Dame. My biggest suggestion is to SAVE often! It may have just been my Win95 computer but on two different occaisions, I lost all my work when the program caused an error and had to shut itself down. I would also suggest that you do the master level before going inside the cathedral with the key. If not, any of the puzzles you solve will not be solved on the next level. To save yourself the heartache of having to redo everything, wait until you are a master builder. Other than that, have fun! :)

Summary: woe if you have a problem.
Review: I like the visuals for this game and the premise. But the interface is awkward and the technical prowess of the designers is minimal -- they can't even change the video mode for the required 640x480 screen size...

But my largest problem is with their technical support. My game continually crashes in the "exploration phase" of the game and all the pointers sent me to the truly heinous DYAD.com site. So although the game is/would be cool if it worked, I'm not sure it's worth the hassle.

Summary: Great puzzle fun
Review: I loved this game, and would highly recommend it to puzzle lovers. The mystery inside the mansion isn't that great, though. The film clips were like watching a bad soap opera, and the clues were vague. Just buy the software for the puzzle, and you won't be disappointed. It will consume hours, and all of the pieces are there.

Summary: Not worth the effort
Review: I really enjoyed this game until I completed the first level and could not continue. I kept receiving an error message and the game would shut down. I ended up wasting money on a game that I can no longer play. I would like to say that if there is a chance of this happening to anyone else I would advice them not to purchase this game. Finishing the first level isn't worth the price of the game.

Summary: Fascinating and Mysterious for the Puzzle Lover
Review: I really love putting puzzles together but I never have enough work space. The Puzz 3D for the PC is a great idea and lots of fun. I really enjoyed working on this Cathedral and learning the history behind it; things I never knew. If Teachers could only make learning history in the classroom this fun and exciting. I look forward to owning ALL the puzzles for the PC and hope they will create more puzzles soon.
