Summary: Highly recommend this game for kids
Review: I am basing my positive review of this game Dinosaur Battles on the following: 1) I am a parent of a 9-year old boy who loves dinosaurs 2) I want him to play games that are fun for him yet don't contain violent content or inappropriate situations. With regard to both of the above, Dinosaur Battles is a winner and I strongly recommend the game. The game is a 3D real-time action fighting game, on par in terms of graphics with console titles, yet available for the PC. The dinosaurs are very realistic(true to the Jurassic Park brand on the game) and they fight other dinosaurs on Jurassic Park Island. Even when the dinosaurs are defeated, they just slink off with their tails between their legs--there is no real violence and certainly no blood or gore that I see in other dinosar-fighting games on the market. Another reviewer gave Dinosaur Battles a negative review, recommending some X-Box dinosaur fighting game instead. While everyone's entitled to their opinion, please keep in mind what's really important when deciding what software to buy for your kids. I don't know this X-Box game, but I'm almost certain that it is probably not designed to be fun and non-violent for my 9-year-old like Dinosaur Battles is. So make up your own mind--just know that I am glad I bought this game, it works great for me, my kid loves it, and I will be looking for other games like it in the future.

Summary: hours of fun
Review: I gave my eight year old son this game, and he has been playing it with enjoyment for the past six months. He has played it with each of his friends on playdates, and several of them have purchased it and play it at home now. It is essentially an exercise in optimization -- how to configure the dinosaurs so they will battle most effectively. It takes patience, strategy, and skill to create winning dinosaurs. I believe my son is learning while he plays. Fortunately, the battles are realistic enough to be satisfying but not gory or upsetting -- the defeated dinosaurs don't die, they just moan and slink off. An additional plus: some of the key human players, including the evil scientist, are smart girls and women. My only problem with the game is that it is so fascinating that I have to limit my son's time at the computer!

Summary: fun game, i like the triceratops and the spino
Review: i just got this game for my birthday, which isn't really until next week. but... and it looked like it would be fun and it was. you get to go on an iland and find all kinds of dinosaurs (i think there are 6-8 of them, all different) and then you get some dinosaurs and you can give them a bunch of different cool powers like makeing their tails swipe or their claws razor sharp. and then you have these bad guy dinos that you have to kill (well, you don;'t really kill them because they get up and skunk away when you beat them and that is funny to watch!! there's a story in the game too so its not just one fight after another, you have to think a little bit and i like that the fighting is a part that you have to think about too. i am not finished with the game yet there are a bunch of levels but i am getting closer to finding out the secret and that makes me want to keep playing. if you know a kid who really likes dinosaurs and fighting games for the PC or for the mac, then this is the game for you!

Review: I like this game. It is better than most of the dinosaur games I have played because their is a real strategy in being able to fight the different dinosours, not just hacking them up until they die. I also like that there's no blood and my little brother and I can play together. GGREAT JOB! MAKE SURE YOU PLAY IT B4 YOU RATE IT!!!

Review: I think this game is great in many differet ways because there is no gore or violence, the game has 3D graphics which is the best, you gain dinosaurs like T-rex, Spinosaurus, Velociraptor and much more, you also gain attacks along the way, and it doen't need a scanner like scan command does because Dinosaur Battles already has 500 or more peices. So I rate Dinosaur Battles a 5 is because almost anyone can play it and it's fun!

Review: Jurassic Park Dinosaur Battles 3-D is Great! It is also fun! You get to control your own dinosaurs and battle other dinosaurs on Isla Sorna! The dinosaurs that you can control and battle are
Velociraptors,Stegosaurus,Triceratops,Gallimimus,Dilophosaurus,
T-rex,Spinosaurus,and Ankylosaurus. You can also control and battle Pteranodons.! The game is super hard . I still can`t get pass one of the Ankylosaurus!

Summary: This Game is Really Fun but Hard
Review: My twin 5 year boys love this game. They can do everything except activiate the DNA in each skill. I have to do that for them. However, they can handle all of the battles and they have completely solved the game. I really enjoy playing it too! For those of you stuck on the aklosaurus, the online help of this game will get you through it. There is NO WAY we would have figured out how to complete this whole game without the online help. I strongly suggest printing it off and keeping it on hand. Anyway, the only way to defeat any armoured dinosaur is to use the piercing skills. They are usually the yellow skills with the word pierce or piercing in their name.

Summary: Fun, but....
Review: This game is fun, going around collecting dino's and teaching them moves with DNA. I suggest this for children 10-15. It lacks in interest after you beat the game once (and believe me, will take you less than an hour), even if you are the biggest jurassic park fan on earth. Buy this if it's under $10.00. Just in case your curious, you gain control over (in order) a velociraptor, stegosaurus, tricerotops, pteronodon (which flies away), maybe an ankylosaurus (i'm not sure), a t-rex, and a spinosaurus. Summary: This game is bad
Review: This game is really bad. Don't listen to these people who say it is good. Because its not. It's bad. It has bad control, bad graphics, bad gameplay. If you want to have more fun turn off your computer monitor and stare at it. That is more fun. If you want a good dinosaur game get Dino Crisis 3 for X box even though X-box is a bad system. If you want a bad dinosaur game get this one.

Summary: Good but can't figure it out
Review: This game is very fun, challenging, cool, but hard. I've been trying everything, every attack. I get stuck with the aklyasaurus. I have to rescue Kirby (a camper from the game)from the aklyasaurus guarding him. Kirby is very smart and can figure out what the code is on the dam. Another aklyasaurus is guarding Dr. Cort's lab filled with info of Ingen_files. Every time I use an attack on it, the screen says "Attack blocked by armor". If only I could get past the aklyasaurus I could move on and go to the next level. SOME ONE HELP ME!
