Summary: 3 year old LOVES it!
Review: My 3 year old son has'nt stopped playing this game since christmas morning! He had it working in 5 minutes and was blazing along. A MUST HAVE from the Backyard series! If your kids have their own computer get this game! The startup is very easy and your kids will enjoy it.

Review: My daughters, ages 12 and 9 didn't even ask for this for Christmas. Someone recommended it to me. They haven't stopped playing it. My 12 year old wants me to buy it for her girlfriend for her birthday this month. A great present!

Summary: It's a Grand Slam!
Review: My oldest son has been playing baseball every since his little hands could hold a bat. If you ask him what he wants to be when he grows up, his answer is always "a baseball player" so it was no surprise to me that when he saw the software for Backyard Baseball that he would want to buy it. As much as I LOVE baseball myself, I really had no interest in learning the video game. After time however, I found myself asking questions and coming to an understanding that there was more to meet the eye than just your average virtual baseball game. The first concept about this game that is really cute is there are 2 different stages and different levels. You can play t-ball or your standard little league baseball game. I thought that was a great addition to have both versions in one game because my little one can play this game as well and understand the concept since he too is in the t-ball league. The second thing about this that makes it appealing to children is the different baseball fields the games take place in. Sometimes it's your typical baseball field, other times they're playing in a make shift baseball field out in a lot, a school baseball diamond, there are several and they're all very unique. The third thing that I personally like is the kids that are in the game that play the baseball players are all racially diverse. There is even a player who is in a wheelchair but has one heck of a throwing arm! ;) My husband really likes the fact that the game allows you to not only PLAY the game, but to also be the coach of the teams you select. Your child will actually pick the players on your team based on the players stats, and create a play list. You have a baseball schedule and everything and my son printed his out and played the games according the schedule like any other baseball game. His learning knowledge of how a team is put together was taught in a way we never could have explained. After you play your team scheduled games, there is a little league series complete with a trophy for your child to print out! I strongly recommend this game for every little baseball player or baseball player to be. My God-daughter also has this game and she loves it, so it's not just for boys. So give this one a try, I can guarantee you'll score a homerun for the person you buy this for!!! ;)

Review: there is not 1 game that is better than this. i was on humongous.com and i saw all these like backyard games and i like basketball so i got it. it has really good graphics and you can do AWESOME STUNTS!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Review: This game has fun gameplay, but could be more realistic. You can hit a 3-pointer, half-court shot, and whole court shot almost every single time! And anyone can dunk, and just tell me, HOW CAN A KID IN A WHEEL-CHAIR DUNK!!!! These kids shouldn`t be able to hit EVERY SINGLE shot!!!! Some of these people make every 3-pointer they shot. I was doing training, and I was Dimitri Petrovich, and I was shooting half-court shots, and when I finally reached 236 in a row, I just decided to quit. Like come on, no one in real life could do that. You can buy it from me if you want, and i`ll give you a free cd case too for getting this THING and WASTE-OF-TIME out of my life. DONT BUY!!!!!!!

Review: This game is awesome with great graphics and the players are really good. I gave this game a 4 because your opponents don't do anything but stand there, while you have the ball. They just cover you. I thought it would be a challenge but it isn't.
But... The players are really good and, I recommend that you buy this awesome game. GO BASKETBALL!!!

Review: This game is not too hard. I haven't gotten too far, but I can tell it's really great. I would recommend this game if you're not familiar with backyard sports, beacuse I brushed my way through most of it. Try checking this game out.
