Review: My two intelligent girls, 8 and 11, have spent a handful of afternoons on this game and cannot solve it. They have had lots of fun but are now frustrated.

Review: I am a huge Nancy Drew junkee! I collect the books and the computer games and I have been reading Nancy Drew since I was little. My friend recommended this software game to me because she knew I loved Nancy Drew and I went out and purchased it. Let me tell you... if you love Nancy Drew you'll love this game! In this game you portray world famous teen detective Nancy Drew. You have been summoned to San Francisco to solve a difficult mystery, a friend of your family who bought a Victorian mansion has been having some.. problems. It looks like sabotage... but who is doing it and why? That's your job to find out. This game will give you hours of fun and you'll feel great when you finally solve the mystery (Not that I have, even on "Junior Detective" it's pretty hard.) And before I stop typing I have one more thing to say. I know Nancy Drew has a reputation of being for girls... but even though this box says "For Girls 10 and up", it shouldn't. If you like mysteries and have some time on your hands, it does not matter what sex you are. You will still love this game. So buy it already! I promise you wll not regret your purchase.

Summary: Nancy Drew is back!
Review: When I purchased this game, I was looking forward to some serious sluething. I got some serious sleuthing and more! The entire game had detailed and realistic graphics. The game play was fairly easy to learn (just a click of the mouse, really), and the game was remarkably fast for such detailed graphics. The music also adds a spooky theme, but it is not scary enough for you to want to stop playing. The plot (a mystery about an old Victorian house that was formerly a hotel, at which accidents were happening and there was a possible haunting) was interesting, and there was many diverse characters. The only bad thing was that the game was too short!!! I hope that more Nancy Drew games are developed soon!

Review: This is a good game. I liked the plot and especially the puzzles. The navigational system needed work though. There's a hint system in the game, but I recommend you only use it if you really need game. If you are a beginner in adventure games, chose the junior detective mode. The storyline is the same, but the junior detective makes it easier to figure out what the hints are. It's a bit shorter than I would like it to be, but then again I'm like that with all the games I like.

Summary: Who knew computer games were this fun!
Review: I have never been a fan of computer games - they make me nervous trying to shoot at things. But this game was great fun (even at my advanced age). The story was good, the characters were a little stiff, but that is part of their charm. I cannot believe how much time I spent playing this game when normally I can't stand spending time in front of the computer. Highly recommend this game for anyone who wants to use their brain while playing a computer game.

Summary: TOO MYSTERIOUS
Review: This game is great in graphics and it has beautiful colors in it and with the music you really feel like your in the mansion. The characters look very realistic and it's cool when you talk to them. You can even choose the response you give them. It may be too spooky for some kids but not too much. Be warned you will see a GHOST! It'll freak you out. The bad news it can become soo frustrating that you want to scream and when you do get to the good part, it finishes. Some of the characters remain soo mysterious you never find out where they sleep and what they were really up to. Oh well that's my opinion. It'll be great for mystery lovers but they'll be thirsty for more.
