Rating: Summary: fun and frustarating Review: this is a fun game but it can be very hard i do not recomend this for eight year-olds.
Rating: Summary: A Compelling Mystery! Review: I think that this game was great! It took me a full week to do including having my social life etc. It was the first game I played! Still, I finished this game in a week without having any help from the official website "helpers" because I didn't know it existed yet. This game has great graphics, a cool mystery, and superb details! It's really creepy and gave me a billion heart attacks! I love this game! The story-Nancy Drew is called up by her house keeper's, Hannah's (that's my name!), friend for yet another great mystery. This time she's inside a beautiful Victorian Mansion. There are creepy and abnormal things going on in the mansion. While Nancy encounters odd and scary events, she meets new people such as Abby, the friendly but supersitious girl down the hall, Charlie, the friendly builder, Rose, the welcoming friend of Hannah's, and Louis, the old business man in the library. As Nancy digs deeper into the freaky compelling mystery, she comes across several secret rooms, trap doors, secrets, and gets more than she bargained for!

Rating: Summary: Great!!!!! Review: The game is a little bit scary, but it is a very fun game. There are a lot of puzzles in this game. My favorite person is Rose. I like her because she is kind and helpful. This is truly a great game!
Rating: Summary: ok not the best Review: well the game was great when I started out graphics great and every thing took me about 3 hours to complete the game and that was every so often had a break when I finshed the game I was excited then I thought I'm done that's it so I became really mad because that was it when you finish you start right back over
Rating: Summary: Nancy Drew's Awesome! Review: The game has just the right amount of everything and it's absolutely perfect for everybody, no matter how old you are. It has wonderful scenery and fantastic effects. It keeps you wanting to keep playing. There were times when I got stuck, but I went to [a web site]and it really helped me. (You can use the message board there to post your questions and get answers. I highly recommend the site.) Also, a few things to remember when playing: -Pay attention to the highlighted words in the tapestry in Nancy's room -Pay attention to the schedule in the dining room. -Time is very important and you can set the time in Nancy's room next to her bed.
Rating: Summary: nancy drew rocks Review: My dad got this game for me at best buy. I thought, I love Nancy Drew, and I also thought that this game was going to be easy. I was wrong. The puzzles are a little trickey, but once you solve them you have the mystery solved. You get to go around the house, talk to several different people, and talk to Bess and George. They are very helpful in hard times. You can find secert attics, two other secret rooms, false floors, and safes. If you get stuck, take a break and try it again later. It worked for me. One time I set my alarm and got up at 6:00 just to play it. Here are some tips. - the maze isn't really solveable, but you need to play it. - scroll your mangfiying glass over everything. Sometimes in despreat times you'll be glad that you did. - times matter! you can only solve the case at a certain time. to get some clues it needs to be a certain time. - the game does not end if you let the bad guy or girl get away. There is a way to stop her or him.
Rating: Summary: Awesome game! Review: Message in a Haunted Mansion was the most fun computer game I've ever played! I got it for my birthday but I couldn't figure it out right away so I stopped and kind of forgot about it. Then later my sister started playing it and we began doing it together. We had so much fun! There were different people you could talk to and they seemed so real. I had no idea who was causing the accidents till the very end. They all had a motive. You could call your friends Bess and George for hints, plus some other people you knew. I was always screaming when something really exciting was happening. It was tricky, but we always seemed to figure it out after awhile. When we finished it, we were really sad and missed it. Trust me, you will like this game!
Rating: Summary: Nancy Drew's Haunted Mansion Mystery Review: First, you must know that I am 30 years old and a big fan of Nancy Drew having read all of her Mysteries when I was a young girl, not to mention never missing an episode of the TV series. I was amazed at the skill level I needed to find all of the clues. I couldn't have done it without help if I was a 10 year old girl. I am very pleased to say that I breezed through most of it. But, there were times when I needed those helpful nudges from Bess and George. This is a fantastic game and I would highly recommend it to anyone regardless of age. The only thing I would say to improve on it would be to have more rooms to explore and more characters to question. I look forward to playing all the other Nancy Drew games.
Rating: Summary: Satisfied Mom and Daughter Review: WOW! Not only do I love to play the Senior Detective level, but my daughter who is almost 8 thinks this game is awesome! She loved the magnifier, and is already enjoying the book. The graphics are beautiful, and this game provides alot of opportunity for her to use her reasoning skills. She gets a great deal of satisfaction in finding the clues then sharing them with her little brother. It has so much to offer- you learn about music, history, and the art of being observant. The little touches like ghosts reflected in mirrors, or curtains moving unexpectedly are a hoot. It is nice to see a game oriented towards girls that doesn't play down to them.I highly recommend this game!
