Summary: One of the Best!
Review: If you are an adult - don't be embarrassed! This game is hours of fun for the whole family! I bought this game for my son (6yrs old) and now the two of us and my friends are hooked on it! Definitely recommed!

Summary: A great game for anyone
Review: Imagine A great, colorful, fun arcade racer with one difference, you get to build your car and driver out of lego bricks. It has very good cartoon graphics, the sound isn't that good but you can hear the lego people yell to each other during the race. The gameplay is exceptional you can win tournaments to unlock new bricks, the cars are easy to control and the way you put the blocks on the car affects how it drives. The only downside that I found is that you have to build your car on A pre-made chassis so building is only so creative, but dispite this almost everyone will one like this game.

Summary: Lego Racers
Review: Lego racers is a stunning game with moderately good graphics. It's fun to design and build your own car but it's hard to make exactly what you want. The game is challenging but not to hard to beat. There is a nice variety of tracks and there are recognizable lego characters. Also, it's fun to create your own wacky Lego characters, earning parts from winning race. The sound is nice and different characters say different fun things. I enjoyed this game, but it wasn't the best. Unless you really want to play Lego Racers, I suggest Nicktoons.

Summary: Big Time Arcade Game
Review: Lego Racers is definatly an arcade game. You know, one of those you play at the movies. It's fun at first, trying to beat each racer. But after a while, you get tired of it. It's really like race, race, race, get bored and stop for a while, then come back. If you like arcede games it should be OK, but if you are into adventure or sim games, I wouldn't reccomend it.

Summary: Awesome, but tough on your computer
Review: Lego Racers was initially a challenge to my son, but rewarded him handsomely by opening up extra circuits and races after he mastered existing circuits. We always knew when he opened a new circuit, he got so excited! This has definitely been the "most-often-played" computer game we own. The sound effects are appropriate for a 6-year-old, but "bad" enough that he loved them; the songs lively; and the on-screen environment is realistic enough to really enjoy the various races.

The rest of us, and some extended family, have gotten into the game too, we range in age from 39 to 6. And all of us have enjoyed it. The "versus" races are very exciting and fun, especially when the 2 competitors are of similar skill.

I highly recommend buying this game, for any age, for a very entertaining and challenging (depending on your "racing game" skills, of course) use of your leisure time. There are enough shortcuts, surprises, unknowns, power-ups, and enough versatility to surpass the price tag. This is a lot of "bang for the buck." And don't forget, you can even build your own car with legos, name it; and assemble AND NAME the driver. "Gentlemen..... (and ladies and children....) START YOUR ENGINES!!"

We'll have Lego Racers 2 very soon.

Summary: Fun for any age group
Review: Okay, I should be embarassed to admit it, but I'm 30 years old and love this game. The scenery is fun to look at, the races challenging without being frustrating, and the premise simply delightful. Not as fun as playing with real Legos, but still amusingly engaging.

Summary: Easy to play, easy to understand even for parents
Review: Previous to buying this game we only had educational software for my six year old son. It's a really easy game for a young child to use plus it helps raise interest and familiarity with computers. He's got really good at this and we'll buy more lego software I'm sure. The only downside to this game is that he's got so good at it that I don't stand a chance.

Summary: This game is great!
Review: Rocket Racer, the greatest racing champion, has assembled the leading racers, and designed the toughest, most grueling courses in all of Legoland. If you wish to be proclaimed the greatest, you must defeat Rocket Racer's champions in each circuit before you can go on to the next. You can design your own Lego racer, or go with a pre-designed one. As you defeat each champion, you unlock the next circuit, and also acquire his or her cars and their parts allowing you to change your car.

This doesn't sound challenging enough? Along the path are Power-Up icons that allow you to build weapons, traps, shields or turbo boosters. Watch out, the other guys are proficient in their use. Want more? Rocket Racer has a friend, Veronica Voltage. To defeat her, you must challenge her one-on-one, and drive *flawlessly*!

This game is great! As my son and I have conquered each circuit, we found ourselves relentlessly challenged; I'm not exaggerating in saying that it takes flawless driving to beat Veronica Voltage! The game is easy enough for beginners, but challenging enough for the computer game expert. It appears that each racecourse has a shortcut in it somewhere, if you can find it, so this game takes quick reflexes and quick thinking.

I recommend this game wholeheartedly!
