Summary: Best game ever!
Review: I first bought Riven, and I started to play fine. Then I noticed that there was Myst, where everything began. It is not that you must buy Myst first, however you enjoy Riven and Myst 3 ( which I did not buy yet) much better if you follow the sequence.

I was surprised and very pleased with the puzzles. It was very hard to stop playing, since you really enter the atmosphere of the island. This version has a help system that give tips for the puzzles, which is very useful for first-time gamers and makes you understand the spirit of the game.

But don't use it too much, otherwise you loose part of the thrill..

For the game I can finally say, take your time, don't rush, enjoy every mystery and every sight, make your personal notes for the puzzles and play it. It does worthy it!

Summary: Don't waste your money
Review: This is an interactive slide-show not a game. There are much better adventure/puzzle games available such as The Longest Journey and Grim Fandango. Enough said.

Summary: This game is stupid!
Review: This game is stupid! The answers to the puzzles in it are really illogical. A two year old could sit there and try every combination possible until they solved it. The puzzles don't have any thinking involved at all. The answers to them are really illogical and I don't know how anyone could of worked them out. I don't mean because it is too hard, it is because the answers hardly even have to do with the puzzles themselves. It has no story. All it is is these stupid puzzles that a two year old could figure out. If you are thinking of buying this game, it is a complete waste of time!

Summary: Myst Masterpiece
Review: Myst Masterpiece is one of (if not) the best games I've ever played. Besides the great graphics, and really cool music, you actually have to think to complete it. Although it took too little time to complete, (a little over two weeks) it was extremely engrossing and entertaining. Fortunately, this version comes with built in hints which I had to use a couple of times (especially with the underground spaceship level). However, it is much more fulfilling to solve them on your own. The only problems I have with the game are (1) The short length,(2) The ending, which is rather disappointing and (3) I had problems with the game crashing to the desktop and losing all my work. This especially happened when trying to get to Channelwood. I am considering Myst III but will probably get Riven first. If you don't have this GET IT!!!

Summary: This is a game?
Review: Wake up everyone! This isn't a game! It's a slide show! You could make something like this in PowerPoint on your own for crying out loud!

Summary: How could anyone like this?
Review: This game is not very good. It is hardly fun at all. You shouldn't buy this. I know that it is so popular but I don't understand why. It is alright. It's not stupid. I was going to give it 1 star but it's alright. No where near 3 though.

Summary: Myst: A #1 Game
Review: This game is the best game I've ever played(and I've played a lot of computer/video games.) I hope other people love it as much as I do.

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: must-have software, even if you play few games
Review: I have little time for computer games these days, but Myst is a must have piece of software for all home computers. If you haven't played an adventure game since the old text-only days of the 1980's, then you will be in for a hugh shock playing Myst on modern equipment!

Rating: 5 stars
Summary: Not Impossible!
Review: The original Myst has stumped the most intelligent players. This version will give you hints and solutions to the puzzles if you get stuck. You won't be needing outside help with "this" Myst.
