Rating: Summary: Superb Software Review: This is a great CD. Something is haunting the school house and taking the kids toys. Freddi Fish and Luther are going to solve the day. My son is almost 4 and has enjoyed this Freddi Fish for hours and hours. Some of the things that I like about this game- Each time you solve the game and save the toys and school, the game changes. Some of the puzzles remain and others change and what you need to set the trap changes and so on. It's a different game every time. I think my son has played it four times and has yet to really repeat a scenario. Great! There are problem solving puzzles and the answer isn't handed to you on a plate. For example, you have to figure out how to open the trophy case (in one scenario on this game) and only by talking to other sea animals do you learn you need a special card to take to a Mr. Triplefin. You have to think creatively to solve the problems. There are a lot of little things you can click on to watch them 'do things'. You might click on a little basket only to see a tiny crab run out and plant some flowers, they grow, and the crab goes back in his home. It's lots of fun. One thing I don't like is I have yet to find a save option on this game. The later ones have a save option. So once you start a game it's hard to stop it because then you will have to repeat everything over again. It may be there, I have yet to find it and yet to make a large effort to figure out how to save a game so we can return to it. Well worth it. My son started playing at age 3 and it was hard for him but at almost 4 it's just about right. I think it would be a great game for older kids too. Enjoy.
Rating: Summary: Keeps kids entertained Review: This is a great game for kids. My 4 year old just loves playing it because it's challenging enough to be interesting, but easy enough that it's not frustrating. The object is to build a trap to catch the ghost and for that you need to find 5 things. Finding each piece requires a 2 step process, something my daughter caught on to about halfway through the first time. Although the box says it's different everytime you play it, there are only about 5 variations of the game. Still that offers great variety for the price and by the time my daughter got through them all, it was still a bit challenging to remember the tasks she had to do. I do think an adult should play along the first time to point out the "ghost" is just some bad fish in disguise and make light of some of the scarier characters. But, there are plenty of friendly characters too. I've seen other reviews mentioning the lack of a save feature. It does have one (press the "S" key), but the instructions don't mention it-the website technical support section explains the save feature. Overall a great game that is highly recommended-we'll definitely be getting more Freddi Fish games in the future.

Rating: Summary: Freddie Fish sets the standard Review: This was my four-year-old's first Freddie program and we ended up getting three others too. This is currently one of her favorites along with Clifford, Putt-Putt, Blues Clues, Ollo, and Nemo. The game is fairly even in difficulty throughout with one exception--to get the trident she must unscramble a sliding puzzle with which she sometimes needs my help. I have sifted through a lot of chaff to find the "wheat" among four-year-old software programs. This is one of the good ones. The graphics are compelling, the music is snappy, the problem solving is adequate, and most importantly my girl chooses to play it.
Rating: Summary: Good Software Review: We now have 3 Freddi Fish and all are great.
Rating: Summary: Excellent! Review: We ordered Freddi Fish 2, 3, 4, and 5. All are just wonderful! My three year old daughter loves them. They have staying power, meaning they do not get old very quick like a lot of the other children's games. They have excellent learning value. I would highly recommend any and all of them for someone from the 3-5 age group.

Rating: Summary: Another good product from Humongous Entertainment Review: We're big fans of all Freddi the Fish and Putt-Putt computer games. This one is no exception. My preschooler enjoys a game that challenges him and he can "win" in about an hour. Initially he and I ran through the whole game to solve it. After that, he plays the game without my help and likes to try to remember where each clue is. The great part is that the clues are different each game. Some are the same, others are different which makes for a more challenging game.
