Summary: Very difficult game.
Review: I hate this game. There is a hallway that you walk up and down and a parrot that you ask questions to. There are doors that you can't open. In the main hall there are pictures on wall of people with flags of symbols beneath them. There are people that you can ask questions to but they don't give any real "answers".
You can't walk outside. There are all sorts of astrological symbols and maps in Nancy's room and in the mansion. There are books in the library but I couldn't pick any of them up. All of the columns in the main hall are missing a small detail. I walked around in people's rooms, the main hall and upstairs hallway. That's it. This game is not worth $2 to me.

Summary: Mrs. Drake and the Easy Bake Oven
Review: i have played all of the nancy drew games before and was really looking foward to this one. but it turned out to be a big disapointment. it is NOT that scary, and it leaves too many unanswered questions after you solve the mystery. there is so many puzzles that you have to figure out that after awhile you forget what the purpose of the puzzle was. the manor could have had alot more rooms to explore, and you only got to talk to some of the characters a few times. hopefully the next game, the secret of the old clock, will be much better!

Summary: Curse of curses
Review: I have played all the Nancy Drew games and feel this one is the poorest of the set. Most of the clues are obscure and don't help much. Another problem with the game is that it is very sequential. If you don't do things at the exact time or in an exact order, you either can't progress through the game, or in some cases it requires a re-start of a saved game. I would highly recommend a stratagy guide or walkthrough with this game. On good thing, HerInteractive has a web site and message board that is VERY helpful. I didn't find the game scary or delving too deeply in the occult. Also, the characters in the game are stilted and annoying, especially the talking parrot and the little girl. If you haven't played the other Drew games, play them first.

Summary: Graphics Are Vivid, Good Mystery
Review: Nancy Drew as an interactive game works because of the good mystery and graphics associated with the game. Enter Blackmoor Manor and you enter a labyrinth of detailed halls and rooms. There are ghosts, mysterious characters, and danger lurking everywhere you turn. Slower than games geared toward boys, but great for girls.

Summary: Too difficult for most 10-year-0lds
Review: This game is much too difficult for most children...my 28 year-ol computer savvy daughter had difficulty with it. The chat-room at nancydrewgames.com is virtually useless...it is as if they want you to buy the guide book. I will never buy another game from this company.
