Summary: didn't live up to my expectations
Review: After playing mystery in a haunted mansion , i bought this. it was more difficult than i expected , and not as many places to explore as the haunted mansion game. however , it was still very fun . also , i finished it within two nights , which was dissapointing , because i looked forward to playing for a week or two. but the characters were very interesting and misleading... so i didnt know who did it until the very end. overall , it was a good game

Summary: A Great game for all ages
Review: This is a good game, and for once I can actully say that it is good for any age. It is fun, and sometimes a little tricky, but after a while of fooling around you can usally figure it out. This game is also good because you dont need a super good computer to use it. You only need 16 mb of ram(memory), which is considerably less compared to other games. The graphics are good, and highly detailed. And overall I would very much recommend this game.

Summary: It's pretty cool afterall
Review: Okay, I recant the negative statements I made about this product (mine was the review titled "I am extremely annoyed by this game"). I got a little bit of help with it and after I got past the part that was giving me so much trouble, I enjoyed the game. It's pretty cool.

Summary: Fun but somewhat disappointing in the end
Review: I was disappointed with this game. I enjoyed playing it, but I thought that the ending was way too predictable. I knew about ten to fifteen minutes into the game who the kidnapper was. The whole game wasn't easy. Some of the puzzles and things were really hard. As a matter of fact, if I hadn't gotten some help on a couple of things, I may not have been able to get to the ending. I was just very annoyed by the fact that I had to go through all this hard stuff just to be told something that I had known all along. Also, there was something in the story that went unexplained, unless there was an explanation and I just missed it. I can't elaborate on that part any further because I don't want to spoil the ending for those who won't find it that predictable.

Summary: I am extremely annoyed by this game
Review: I was hesitant about buying any of these Nancy Drew CD-ROMs because I was never any good at solving the mysteries in the books. The only reason I finally decided to purchase one of them was because the package said that the game had built in hints if you wanted them. That statement is completely misleading. The only built in hints the game has is Bess, Ned, and George telling you to question all of the suspects. I'm not so stupid that I can't figure out on my own that I should question the suspects. The hints on the company's website was of no help to me. I was able to do on my own what the website tells you to do. The stupid company doesn't give hints to the harder clues because they want you to buy their solution guide. Which I admit I'll probably end up buying it, if I don't get mad and break the cd first, but I know one thing. The Final Scene is my first and last of their products that I will buy.

Summary: Better & Better!
Review: The Nancy Drew Mystery Games from Her Interactive are superb, and everything, from the graphics to the mystery, just keeps getting better and better.
The graphics in this game are realistic and detailed, from spilled popcorn to projector gears.
The characters are excellent, and Nancy's responses can be humorous.
All together, this mystery weaves a suspenseful tale of excitement, danger, and (of course) mystery.
I highly recommend this game and all other Nancy Drew Mystery Games.

Summary: My daughter and I had a blast solving this game!
Review: I'm always looking for fun things to do together with my daughter (age 10), and this game sure fills the bill. We played it over the long Thanksgiving weekend, and it kept us on the edge of our seats the whole time. My husband actually joined in too, after he came in to see what all the laughing and shrieking was about. I'm getting my daughter one of the other Nancy Drew games for Christmas (or am I getting it for me?)

Summary: Outstanding
Review: I have played every single Nancy Drew game and I have to say that 'Final Scene' is without a doubt the best. This game kept me on the edge of my seat! I am an aunt of 9 nieces and you can bet what they are getting for Christmas. They think these games rock too. Well done!

Summary: Could I give it anything less than 5 stars?
Review: Like the other Nancy Drew games, "The Final Scene" was great. In each Nancy Drew game, you get to be the famous detective and solve a mystery. It's not easy, though. You have to search for clues and find secret passageways. You maneuver through the game with your mouse, using arrows and magnifying glasses on the screen -- and sometimes, trinkets and trapdoors can only be found by viewing them at a particular angle. This allows for hours of fun -- or hours of being stuck, whatever. (This is what the HerInteractive site's message boards are for!)

The graphics in this game are incredible. The people look 3-D and although they do look a bit robotic, they're realistic and believable. The attention to detail is amazing as well. The scenery is beatiful -- there are cool things to look at that don't really pertain to your mystery, but then again, you don't KNOW for sure if they do or not -- it's always good to keep your eyes open and remember where certain things are.

The dialogue is clever and witty, and often funny and silly (but in a good way). My only complaint on this subject is the fact that sometimes the dialogue doesn't make sense -- sometimes a character speaking to you will tell you to try doing something you've already done, and Nancy (you) will say "OK, I'll try that" -- when in fact you've already done it! Obviously the game's programming can't handle ANY eventuality. But whatever. This is a small thing and it is a small annoyance at the most.

"The Final Scene" is so fun. All I can ask for in the next Nancy Drew game (and please, PLEASE keep making them!) is more puzzles (there were about five in this game; all pleasantly challenging) and, also, give us more game time! The box says it can take over 20 hours. I did the senior level and had it completed in 6 or 7. Then again, I'm in my twenties. (Yes! Adults, do not be ashamed to play this! I have gotten several of my friends hooked! However, I've also played one of the other games with a 10-year-old... she needed a little help but did pretty well on her own, so this is for all ages!) Also, like many people, I've played the other four games -- so I guess after awhile you get the hang of the games and that makes them go faster.

Synopsis: if you want many hours of good, mind-boggling and exciting fun, buy this game. Nancy Drew rocks!
