Paper documents can be converted into the Adobe Acrobat format, and the resulting PDF files are fully searchable, editable, and compact. The program recognizes snapshots captured with digital cameras, and detects the orientation of a scanned document and rotates it automatically for optimal recognition. Readiris offers up to six user interface languages (English, French, German, Spanish, Italian, and Dutch), and is able to recognize up to 94 languages.
